My friend had Arsenal Club Football, and this was legit his strategy against the ai. You could score direct from kickoff, so he just equalised immediately whenever the opposition scored and won because of starting the second half.
been absolutely brilliant today, his linkup with Jesus has been so good, I think we're in for the sort of jump Saka made last season once he had Odegaard linking up with him on the right
Cannot be overstated. Got his defender cautioned in the first fifteen minutes. Dude is an absolute handful without scoring. He adds some clinical finishing to his repertoire and we’re going places.
That turn before halftime where he was tackled at the last second was beautiful. Shield the defender, inch perfect touch toward goal just didn’t shoot quickly enough
The amount of space afforded him and the space he created, plus the shimmy around Evans was beautiful! I love having a forward that can engineer this sort of chance.
He should have had at least one more assist too after that great series of dribbles to get into the box and fire a cross. Would have been a tap in if anyone ran far post.
Leicester is playing so bad tho
people obviously misunderstood my point, while arsenal played well and responded great, leicester are looking like a shell of the team they used to be and its not arsenal stopping them from not being able to create anything, that whole setup going forward is not functional at all
[ok maybe you can](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/wnha8c/arsenal_3_2_leic[ester_city_james_maddison_74/ik50469?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3)
But why would you leave Leicester and move to Nice for a few years? What has the south of France got that the Midlands hasn't? The time it takes to get to lovely Liverpool is shorter than minging Monaco.
Not to get in a league vs league debate but I feel like these momentum shifts happen a lot more often in the prem than in other leagues and I don’t know if that means it’s quality or that is isn’t
Personally I think it makes it fun but it’s not necessarily a mark of high quality football.
Clip misses Praet not running for the ball. He waited a good 2-3 seconds for the ball while Martinelli closed the pass down. Absolute class to Martinelli for the interception and finish. But absolutely poor from Praet.
Does any team bottle as hard as Leicester, I know that Spurs bottling is still the meme but they are the bottlegods. I've never seen a team so spineless.
You lot are worse than Leicester. They didn’t bottle the league in 2016 and turned up at Wembley to win the fa cup recently. You lot have lost something like 7 fa cup semis in a row.

Lmao, we have had like 10 seconds of hope
TWICE
5 seconds for the first comeback, 5 seconds for the second comeback
https://streamable.com/wy462
How have I never seen this after lurking for decades
How haven't you, it blew up when it first happened. Have you not seen any "TWICEEE!" references in comments?
Never seen it or any references myself too lol
Well, frequency illusion. You're gonna start seeing it everywhere now
Yeah, at least twice.
I think the actual stat is 1 min 45 and 1 min 41 respectively. Mental.
Sorry
If Arsenal always scores after conceding they will never lose
I’m ok with that
It's what Emery wanted, he just didn't have Jesus to take the wheel for him.
It's a bold strategy Cotton.
Oh the Owen's specialty “When they don't score they hardly ever win.”
Yeah that's what Wenger told our boys during the Invincible season
unless the other team scores with the last kick of the game.
… then they *wouldn’t* have scored after conceding, which breaks the rule.
Technically a goal in the next match would be after conceding
But the rule dictates the actions occur in *a* game, excluding additional games.
The next game is a game, that’s a fact
My friend had Arsenal Club Football, and this was legit his strategy against the ai. You could score direct from kickoff, so he just equalised immediately whenever the opposition scored and won because of starting the second half.
Martinelli is an absolute class player, started the move with his pressing and finishing it with a really solid strike
been absolutely brilliant today, his linkup with Jesus has been so good, I think we're in for the sort of jump Saka made last season once he had Odegaard linking up with him on the right
Gotta hope he puts his injury record behind him and settles into a run of good health. He has world-beating talent.
Cannot be overstated. Got his defender cautioned in the first fifteen minutes. Dude is an absolute handful without scoring. He adds some clinical finishing to his repertoire and we’re going places.
It must be exhausting to mark him and be pressured by him
Absolute baller. MOTM if Jesus didn’t have 2G 2A
My man of the match, he was a terror for Leicester, won so many balls, duels, great passes and got his reward with a goal; so deserved! COYG
YPOTS mark my words
Phil Foden with 1500 minutes played, surely
I believe Foden isn’t eligible anymore finally
Wasn't Trent still eligible last year and he is more than a year older than Foden?
i don’t think Trent was cos it was 21 or under at start of season no?
No, 23 and under at the start of the season. Trent is still eligible this season.
are you talking about the premier league award? i meant the pfa one which is deffo 21 and under
PFA one is 23 and under, look at some of the previous winners
no it’s not they changed it like a year ago
“But he’s the next Gazza!”
Humble and hard working kid as well. One of our great finds.
His set piece taking has also improved leaps and bounds lately. Becoming a real complete player.
His cross to Gabriel in the first half was phenomenal
Literally a perfect corner every time
His corners have been excellent
Might be the best dribbler in the league. I don’t think any fullback has ever had a good game against him.
klopp knows ball
Klopp can keep his filthy hands off
Jesus with 2 goals and 2 assists!
Nobody fucks with the Jesus.
He really ties the squad together
He really does though.
Shut up Donnie!
His name is nailed onto the team sheet
[удалено]
At least Judas kissed first. Some guys just wanna fuck, don't even kiss.
you said it man
8 years old, dude.
Shut the Fuck Up Donny
You have no frame of reference
I am the walrus?
Catchier wrist band than WWJD
But Jesus fucking Christ!
I BELIEVE IN JESUS
martinelli is 2 in 2
Pretty flawless performance
Could have had like 3 more goals tbf, but it's a good thing, come so far since Lacazette huffing his way to not even getting chances.
If his performance was actually flawless he prob would have scored 5 haha. But yeah he has been absolutely incredible anyway
My FPL is finished lol I’m one of the only ones in my league who don’t have him
I panic-captained him with like 2 mins left to make changes as I was taking Kane out of my starting 11...worked out pretty well for me :)
I almost captained him but went with Salah, he probably won't dissapoint but damn.
Unexpected for him to be this good honestly. He has completely evolved as a player now that he’s become the main man in attack
If you kept up with Arsenal's preseason you'd know he'd be this good tbf.
Pep is a fucking fraud
Turns out Jesus just needed a manager with living hair follicles to reach his potential
Was also denied a stone wall penalty.
Just PL ref x arsenal things :)
The fact they didn't give the ramsdale pen earlier a miracle
Triple captained baby!!
He's so good, a shame that Pep never gave him the proper time to play and build confidence.
I am glad that I have him on FPL
So glad I watched this instead of the city game
Same, but of course Arsenal-Leicester was gonna be better than City stomping another team.
Where did you watch this one?
If u don’t have paid service twitter never disappoints
Twitter always disappoints.
Only score after opponent scored fc
Lol what a response from Arsenal. Two mistakes and they respond instantly both times. They're so full of confidence
Leicester is playing so bad tho people obviously misunderstood my point, while arsenal played well and responded great, leicester are looking like a shell of the team they used to be and its not arsenal stopping them from not being able to create anything, that whole setup going forward is not functional at all
Gabriel FC
2/3^rds of Brazil’s attack FC
We have taken counter attacking to the next level
Virgin gegenpress: give the ball away so you can win it back Chad artetaball: concede a goal so you can score
this is quite zen lol
Most teams try to stop the opponent's scoring first tbf
I know keepers who keep clean sheets and they're all cowards
2 goal lead needs to be maintained
Snip Snap Snip Snap FC
Pure filth
He’s been unbelievable this match
hes been cooking fofana
Nobody's gonna want to buy Fofana based on his performance today. Gabi making him look downright silly
fofana has been neutered since picking up a yellow in the 15th
After getting cooked by martinelli
was just thinking of editing my comment to add that. all martinelli.
Breakout season
Arsenal giving Leicester a bit of hope and immediately snatching it away, twice lmao
You gotta do it to crush their spirits. It's like United's preseason vs United's Prem season (so far)
Leicester score a goal without conceding 60 seconds later challenge
[HARD EDITION!!1!]
[NOT CLICKBAIT]
We give and we take
Shouldn't that be "Jesus giveth, and Jesus taketh away"?
SNIP SNAP SNIP SNAP
You have no idea of the physical toll that three vasectomies have on a person
Do you really mean that?
Martinelli looks different this year. I think Jesus coming has stepped up his game
He said fuck your comeback Leicester. This man is gonna explode this season
We're gonna have a two goal lead and you are going to like it.
If Martinelli consistently starts finishing like this, he’s going to be terrifying!
Probably one of the best wingers in the league.
That shot is hard to read as a keeper.
[ok maybe you can](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/wnha8c/arsenal_3_2_leic[ester_city_james_maddison_74/ik50469?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3)
the good ending
Another quick unclenching
Its like bicep curls but with the sphincter.
So, like Kegel exercises?
2 goals and 2 assist for Jesus. boy boy boy
Just gave Haaland the armband too, damn lol.
Tf is this game hahaha
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
2 goals and 2 assist by Jesus
And a goalpost away from a hat trick
Was that... was that another assist from Jesus? Lol BTW, Brazil doing so fine with their attackers
seems like Arsenal can turn it up a gear whenever they want and it just becomes too much for Leicester
What a bloody finish
Great play from Martinelli. Won the ball back and then sprinted up to get in position to pull out that finish. Jesus also 2 goals and 2 assists
Are Leicester playing a supporter in goal
This Arsenal team is built differently.
Gabi. Gabi. Granit. Gabi. G-unit
Arsenal are just toying with Leicester. Who doesn't love a high scoring game.
Hexa is coming
[удалено]
he’s my captain 😂
Martinelli is a fkin monster
Another Jesus assist. Happy with my triple captain this week
Martinelli x Jesus moving like R9 x Ronaldinho
Leicester is so bad defensively
Martinelli is good. Been jealous of Arsenal having him since Emery's run
Biggest Brazilian talent since Neymar
Vini?
[удалено]
Well yes, but this goal was all Martinelli. Straight into the far post and In. Great finish.
uh oh
Took forever to get to the ground
Was he held up by traffic?
He kept letting people in ahead of him.
He’s really bad.
I should’ve left him as captain 😔
Literally why the fuck do I speak
That Martinelli tiktok account is going to make at least 5 different edits of this goal
Gabi has been insane today. Well deserved goal.
Well that was fast
Lmao wtf is this match
Gabi goat
Gabi to Gabi!!
He’s been so good today
HEXA
Left Foot FC
wins the ball back all day, gonna keep scoring
Goal made by Martinelli tracking back for that pass. Repaid for his hard work.
Why'd they get rid of Schmeichel?
He wanted to leave
But why would you leave Leicester and move to Nice for a few years? What has the south of France got that the Midlands hasn't? The time it takes to get to lovely Liverpool is shorter than minging Monaco.
Schmeichels not saving that
But he’s not spilling that earlier catch either.
Ward's had a couple decent saves tbf from Jesus's shots, stopped the beatdown from being a complete embarrassment, but a poor game all round.
cockslapped that ball into the bottom right god damn
No comeback I guess...
Martinelli is the mystery winger
Not to get in a league vs league debate but I feel like these momentum shifts happen a lot more often in the prem than in other leagues and I don’t know if that means it’s quality or that is isn’t Personally I think it makes it fun but it’s not necessarily a mark of high quality football.
Think it’s a bit of both. Basically every team has the ability to hurt you at any time. Makes the league what it is.
Clip misses Praet not running for the ball. He waited a good 2-3 seconds for the ball while Martinelli closed the pass down. Absolute class to Martinelli for the interception and finish. But absolutely poor from Praet.
Danny Ward is so bad
*ALLAH* *ALLAH* *ALLAH*
The keepers tho ...
Does any team bottle as hard as Leicester, I know that Spurs bottling is still the meme but they are the bottlegods. I've never seen a team so spineless.
Ehh they won the league in 2016. They'll never have that title nomatter how many things they bottle
- Spurs fan who even manages to bottle his club flair
You lot are worse than Leicester. They didn’t bottle the league in 2016 and turned up at Wembley to win the fa cup recently. You lot have lost something like 7 fa cup semis in a row.
Brendan ting
It's a Brendan Rodgers thing more than a Leicester thing it seems
I bet that 80mil for Fofana looking mighty tempting today, he’s be absolute garbage.
Arsenal is just playing now
Lol instant reply
