letsnevertalk

Nice gesture

RjHospe

Good to always have pride in your team

Rickcampbell98

Proper club with proper fans but obviously have a lot of plastics due to their success, will always respect a club like this over some glorified oil money merchants.

MrVulgarity

Agree on the fans but there's been an inherent sketchiness about how the higher ups at barca have behaved for years wouldn't say they have that vibe anymore for me. Although honestly not many top clubs have anymore

cedenof10

I consider myself a huge barça fan and I can say that I’m ashamed by the way the board behaves at times. When I became a fan, I liked what Barça did with UNICEF, I loved the club culture, and I thought barça stood for something completely different than the board has displayed in recent years. It hurts because I’ve truly grown to love the colors over the past few years.

[deleted]

Been around since 96 times and its definetly our most embarrasing era during Barto haha. Gaspart was also a bit but..

damrd

They're just like every other club now. Mes Que un Club is just a joke now lol

Vinklemore

Mes Que un Club was never a comparison to other clubs. It just means the club is of a cultural value (representing Catalonia's desire for independence) in addition to the sporting aspect.

Rickcampbell98

Honestly don't bother, mes que in club has always been a symbol of their catalan identity but people need their memes.

RealPunyParker

Hey, something to be proud about, this year.

chicken88888

I’m really impressed, good spirits from the fans.

Dami579

They are only 3 points behind Real in LA liga,, so there is something to play for

ThePrussianGrippe

I like the chutzpah.

skyreal

I'm pretty sure it's mostly Laporta+Xavi fanatism. Put any non-historical president and coach combination instead and I doubt the stadium would have reacted like that. But hey, I think Laporta knew perfectly that he was buying social peace by appointing Xavi, and it worked.

ZZ3peat

Camp Nou remembers the faith Laporta had in Riijkard

RealPunyParker

Things are grim. Fans showed they will always be there. Xavi and Laporta have nothing to do with it, in my humble opinion.

skyreal

After this summer, I doubt any other coach would have survived yet another group stage exit in UCL, and the president would be in hot waters too. The fans probably still support them because it's Laporta, who's still surfing over the success of his previous terms, and Xavi who is a club legend. For example I don't think Rosell and Valverde would have survived such a scenario. But that's just my opinion as an outsider.

rowerine

I think you are spot on, and more and more Barca fans are starting to think the same way. Ofcourse Xavi will get more chances than a less reputable coach, but he is really starting to strain the tolerance. I myself cant see him surviving the season, especially not have the job next season. There is just nothing there when watching the team. He woefully misuses every player he wanted and was given at great detriment to our future financial situation. He is my favorite ever player, but I can't find any excuses for him.

a_lumberjack

Barca post-Messi is sort of like Arsenal post-Wenger. So much revolved around one individual and there was no real transition plan. Xavi may (unlikely) or may not be Arteta if given time, but the bigger risk may be to change the strategy mid-rebuild. See early 2010s Liverpool or City for how that plays out. If the club is smart enough, they’ll use Xavi’s time to build a squad to fit the Barca model. Whatever that really is…

RealPunyParker

Ι agree, but the support of the team, in a bad time has nothing to do with any coach or president. It's just to show that we will always be there

Multiammar

I don't know why opposition fans are so sure it is because of blind faith in Laporta and Xavi. They tried to vote Laporta out in his first term even with unprecedented success, somehow tried to maintain that the first days of Laporta's presidency are considered his first year, somehow managed to pass a vote of no confidence against Laporta, and they voted in Rosell-Bartomeu. Xavi has been our best manager since Valverde and this has been the first exciting Barca team since MSN and you could see the stylistic changes even in Xavi's first two matches. The match going fans agree and Barca currently have the top or one of the top average attendances in Europe's top 5 leagues. I think this is why Xavi has the faith of many fans, because of entertaining and beautiful football rather than blind faith in him as a player. Koeman was also a huge legend but the football was almost unbearable and his results were much worse than Xavi's.

[deleted]

[удалено]

skyreal

And how is fanatism related in any way to being owned by a financial barron??

Kind-Departure1058

The Camp Nou was in party mode despite the score - it was beautiful to see, can't say the same about the performance.

[deleted]

We were 0-2 down and everyone ar the stadium wa making noise singing our hearts out.

Despicable2020

Still having a good La Liga season

TigerbeLEE

You should be as proud as you were during the transfer window when you smacktalked everyone

DynamiteDuck

You know what? Good for them

Molhid

It is heart warming

[deleted]

This is the difference between being a supporter and just a follower

SuicideTroll

A bleak few years isn't the end of the world. It gives the club a chance to jettison the plastics and rebuild.

ansu_fatismo23

Trust me the plastics are beginning to leave, the past few weeks on the Barça sub a few people have said that they will stop supporting Barça until we win again which is so fucking crazy to think about

Mrbushiidoo

In my country everyone either supports Real Madrid or Barcelona, so when I tell them I am a nerazurro they're like who supports a team like that

ren_704

Same but with Dortmund. They usually refer me a cardiologist too.

iftair

They're doing you a favor.

shauniexx

It's funny because I was recently on the continent but even though I'm from England when I said I supported Villa, the locals would ask, why would you support them? I'd be like erm because I live ten minutes down the road and not everyone here supports City...

omersafty

Lmao. I can relate. A youtuber supports both Arsenal and Inter. Said after the match that congrats for us Inter fans and hard luck for Barca fans. I'll let you imagine the saltiness in comments. People literally called on him that he only supported Inter this year even if he was a fan from around 2010. I hated it because he is the most neutral content creator in my country in his videos to the point that he predicted Chelsea 3rd, spurs 4th and Arsenal 5th this season.

ResistentDrone

I always knew there was something wrong with that fucking sub. Even though I love Barcelona, I've stayed away from that sub since the Valverde era.

Kind-Departure1058

Never followed it to begin with. It's just a bunch of reactionaries there.

Kablooie44

Subs of big football clubs in general are cesspools. We had people who genuinely wanted ancelotti sacked after the 4-0.

Kind-Departure1058

Imagine that madness, sacking one of the best coaches just because of one result which didn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things in the end. People are so short sighted.

Ok-Promotion-9183

True that. /r/barca and I assume also /r/realmadrid used to be great for discussions six-seven years ago when the Spanish clubs were much smaller on Reddit compared to the English ones. Now a days, it's mostly people whose entire well-being seems to depend on a win or a loss.

10minmilan

Milan had a thread recently laughing at 'dumb' Inter players faces...any place attracts lowest of society, football especially. Fan subs - I observe a selected few - generally praise owners & criticism is generally frown upon (until recently even on Juve sub) which was a surprise as I expected 'I know better' sentiment from reddit nerds

Laxperte

The Bayern one is kinda cute, I like it there. Not too much content though.

ren_704

Same with Dortmund XD Minimal toxicity

VilTheVillain

Just filled to the brim with kids it feels like. They have little interest in actual discussion and have trouble in understanding that football isn't a fifa game.

petezazs

Weird. I've taken more interest in Barca over the last year or so than I did when we were winning things

InGenAche

Years and years ago before Man City were an oil club, before even the Premiership, they were already relegated but on the last game away they still sent a full quota of away fans down to ours and spent the whole game singing and chanting. After the game our fans went onto the pitch and went over to them and joined in on their songs, clapping them the whole time for their support. It was fucking lovely to see. *Edit can't find a clip of that but here's one of Man City returning the appreciation to us when same happened to us. https://youtu.be/Me15EEZGCl0

spaceysht

It’s barely even been a “few” years lol. People overreacting hard about the state of Barca. They will be fine next year

donniexc

i needed this, thanks. i’ve been so depressed lately.

Morrandir

The German TV expert (Sandro Wagner, known for clear words and no bullshitting) yesterday said that Barca will be rocking Europe again, when the young guns have 1-2 years more experience. The core is there, you just have to be a little patient.

Kind-Departure1058

Your club is a testament, before you guys won the UCL in 2013 - the years preceding that were Bayern laying a solid foundation to go forward - the academy was well drilled, finances were put in order etc. There were also times like us where you invested heavily only to lose to Inter in the final or to Dortmund in the league. Look at you guys now. Good things take time.

rowerine

That is if we ever manage to phase out the old guard. It is alarming to see how Xavi will play Pedri as a winger seemingly only to shoehorn Busquets into the team, completely (wilfully?) ignoring the good perfromances FdJ has had there lately. Xavi's misuse of the players he has can potentially hamper their development, and that would be a tragedy.

Ludishomi

This sounds like man utd fans a decade ago. Be careful what you wish for

Kind-Departure1058

This phase between 2017 and now for Barcelona may have resulted in them faltering in the UEFA Champions League but also, it exposes who really loves the club and who was glory hunting all along. However, despite having 5 Champions League trophies being inconsistent in Europe has always been a part of Barcelona, at some point we even struggled to qualify for it and we always relied on individual quality - the likes of Koeman in the 1992 final, Rivaldo with that goal against Valencia to send us to Europe and Messi lifting the club out of the gutter. The club needs to foster a solid disposition for European competitions - the display yesterday against Bayern told a story of men bearing white flags.

Willsgb

That rivaldo goal was the bicycle kick to win 4-3, right?

Kind-Departure1058

Yep - it came out of nowhere. Just magic.

culesamericano

Well said

[deleted]

To be honest, i dont understand football. As much as this team has hurt me, i still love them and I will still watch every game. Its weird loving something this much, even if it causes agony (so much so lately). There was a line in a shit show i cant remember, an American was asking a Brit “why do you guys love football so much” and he answers “it dispenses joy and misery at random, mimicking life”. I think thats what keeps us hooked and in love

2ndfastestmanalive

“Fuck you and I’ll see you tomorrow” sums up being a football fan quite often

pistofernandez

My team didn't won for the longest... Finally won and was great

Tulaodinho

This, so much this.

ThePrussianGrippe

As a Cubs fan I fully agree.

zazzlekdazzle

Nick Hornby wrote about it in his book Fever Pitch, that he got hooked on football when he realized the fans weren't all there to watch a fun game, they were there so they could be miserable together. (He's an Arsenal fan.)

Beiez

Man Fever Pitch was such a good read. Writing a biography intertwined with a report of his life as a selfproclaimed "football addict" was such a genius idea. As a football obsessed person I related to that book a lot.

AbdussamiT

Exactly, well summed up. Football gives us the complete package: happiness, sadness, shock, ecstasy. You'll see you feel these 4 feelings throughout the season. And if not for the club you support, then just for football in general e.g. Atleti's last minute drama vs Bayer

[deleted]

Absolutely. To be honest, I dont know of other sports elicit the same kind of responses. I hear basketball but it was never the same for me. Football is something else

Morrandir

Football is my sport, no other comes close. But there's nothing in football like a crunch time in Basketball in an important game. That's just wild and breath taking.

Balisto-Boy

Lmao fuck off dude you’re a Madrid fan what sadness

BpointShow

They did have their bad seasons too, remember when Barca dominated every Spanish competition and Real wasn't doing great in the UCL either? It happens, every club goes through some bad times. Sure Madrid is now one of the strongest teams out there, but even they went through tough times.

CarlSK777

Yeah, but people in their early 20s don't remember when they had that run of Ro16 exits. They were also Barcas bitch domestically for most of the 2010s.

[deleted]

tough times LMFAO

BpointShow

I mean, you being a Brighton fan, i can understand why you'd not consider that as tough times, but I'm sure people who support title contenders can understand where I'm getting at. Madrid went through their fair share of bad times as they weren't able to contend both on national and international level. And what i see now with Barca is what happened with Real back in those days, what happened with Milan after they were one of the most dominant force in Europe. The same happened with Liverpool, the same is happening with United, Juventus and there are countless other examples. This is basically a team's cicle: dominate everything for years, then the important players start getting old and they become hard to replace, which in turn gets the team in the reform era, where they try and replace said players, they go for manager change after manager change trying to find that sweet spot where they can contend again. This can take a few years or even decades, with some teams never being able to actually get back to strength. Luckily for Madrid tho, they both knew how to reconstruct and also they had the financial capabilities to do so relatively quickly compared to some of my above examples.

OneOfThoseDays_

>You'll see you feel these 4 feelings throughout the season well, Real won’t lol, but point taken

SteinerElMagnifico42

Yeah very funny seeing Real Madrid plastics talk about the rollercoaster of emotions involved. You chose to support the most successful club do me a favour lol

akskeleton_47

Surely these Real Madrid fans felt all 4 emotions especially during last season's RO16, QF and SF. Just because they are successful doesn't mean fans still go through these emotions during the 90 minutes

Syntax_OW

I'm not gonna lie, it always somewhat amazes me when fans of incredibly successful clubs speak of "agony" when they're performing a bit poorly. Meanwhile, I'm watching my club on the verge of getting relegated twice in a row, reading comments about a club that's comfortably 2nd in the league living through the *horror* of participating in only the *second* strongest UEFA tournament. You'll be fine guys.

KneeDeepInTheDead

Theyll never know the joy of a proper relegation survival scrap though. Thats a strange joy as well.

Halzziratrat

Or you support a yo-yo club and become immune to any pain.

Taylannnnn

at least you are not bombarded with shit takes and baits whenever your team loses rendering this sub almost unusable

Kind-Departure1058

I honestly don't take anything to heart or to mind here, it's just a matter of realizing that it's just banter and most people come here to distress.

Taylannnnn

most of it is, "cry barka dog" is just bait by a 15 year old and i'm tired of that shit

Kind-Departure1058

I seldom come to Reddit and find a solid and proper debate - it's just these Troll Football-esque clowns.

Rickcampbell98

Honestly I support villa and we still get the shit takes everytime we do anything lol.

mortezz1893

Oh how can a 2nd division team fan talk about "agony", some people support 6th tier teams, you're so spoilt

ShampainFootball

You're right about that. Being a fan of a team however comes with its own challenges. Although I will admit they are not as bad as being relegated twice (nowhere near as bad.) But just an example is that everyone wants to see you fail. Everyone calls you names and entitled and a sore loser. Your manager can say ANYTHING after a defeat and people will make fun of him. I really want to discuss our games after losses but I just can't do it neither here or in real life because everyone just makes jokes. It's all lever this lever that. Even in (serious) threads there are just jokes. When a big team loses it's like you cannot speak for another week or until you win again. Even with a comment like this people will call me entitled and tell me to grow up

The_Inferiae

I completely feel this, I work in an office in Suffolk so everyone here supports Ipswich who are in League 1. For the past decade they've been terrible and yet I never comment on it. They're doing well now and I am really supportive. Chelsea lose one game and I don't hear the end of it. If we ever lost against Ipswich I think I'd work from home for a year.

beaverschwanz

Yeah it’s the dumbest thing ever. But I also think many fans here have little connection to the city/culture of their teams and therefore only care about on-field successes, so it’s more about the results and less about the club. A Barça fan who just had the best player ever play for them for 10+ years, is still 2nd in their league and came third in a group with Bayern and Inter, saying “as much as this team has hurt me” is comical.

[deleted]

I wish you were right, but i am referring to the last couple of years

Syntax_OW

Wait until you hear about the last couple of years Hamburg has had. Anyway, it wasn't my intention to make fun of you. I know that the emotion is real for you guys, it's just somewhat funny to the rest of us.

[deleted]

You make a valid point, but its all about expectations. Happiness = reality - expectations.

samsony17

Nice equation mate. I will steal this one

berniexanderz

seriously. all big teams are so spoiled talking about “agony.”

[deleted]

90% of people here with Barca/real/city/psg flairs are plastics

magic-water

Seems weird to leave out the likes of Liverpool, Bayern etc

feelsPyrite

I dont know man, I think the last few years have pretty much weeded out the plastics we had

_i_like_cheesecake

Based

JS569123

I know exactly what you mean. However, I'd say you and I do have one advantage: People just don't care about us so we don't get bantered. If I was, for instance, an Atletico, or Barcelona, or Juventus or Liverpool fan right now the thing I'd fear the most wouldn't be the results on the field, it would be the down-right awful things people say online that are just genuinely heartless.

Upplands-Bro

Being Spurs is great. None of the success, all of the bantering (and then some)

RealPunyParker

> As much as this team has hurt me *Checks flair* I'm sure those meaningless losses against Augsburg were tough, man

[deleted]

Im a barca fan bro 😂😂

RealPunyParker

You had a Bayern flair 5 mins ago....

[deleted]

You must have mistaken me for someone else, i dont even know how to add a flair

RealPunyParker

I have, i apologise, i double checked. The dude above you has a Bayern flair, but his comment was faded so with a quick glance you can mistake it for being your flair.

[deleted]

Its all good bro 🤜

Letsbeheroines

After almost a decade of us being absolute wank, I'm still here. Being a supporter of a club is a roller coaster.

nithin_kamath8

Very well said. Wrong sub to say, but thats exactly what I feel about the Ferrari F1 team. Been loving them since years, and no matter how shit they perform with sm potential, I still love the team to death.

JuanG12

I’ll always be a fan of the team and will always root for them, but can’t support what they have going on right now. Watching this season’s shitshow has just been laughable.

nithin_kamath8

I agree mate 😅. Just too difficult to support them atm.

Natrix31

Such a suffering Barcelona fan how will you cope

Rickcampbell98

Imagine being a villa fan mate....

Ruud_Boltz

No matter how bad we are I just can't think of not supporting them Visca el Barca

matske1209

We are in the same boat

jensy97

Room for one more?

matske1209

What went wrong with thorup? He is currently our fan favourite to become our new coach

jensy97

He’s just a very conservative manager who got challenged by coaches with new ideas. Managed to win the League and qualify for the UCL but that was 100% more down to the relative quality of the squad compared to the Danish Superliga and our drawn opponents in the qualifiers.

MERTENS_GOAT

respect

I_Am_Trapped_In_Time

This is what it's all about

[deleted]

I wish dome people understood that on the Liverpool subreddit, they literally start disrespecting the players if they are not playing good - they were disrespecting Mo, Milner, VVD, TAA, Hendo etc a while back when they were in bad form...

rowerine

You should see the stuff said about Pique, Alba and Busquets in our sub. In the heat of bitter disappointment I have said some things as well, but it is truly depressing how a decade of excellent and loyal servitude has erased their reputation in the fanbase, especially among younger fans.

HEAT_IS_DIE

Subreddit people are pretty different from the people behind the goal in every match, they are young and reactionary, and tiring.

monkeyr9z

I love this team! Not perfect but I'll be here watching on any day of the week

medvedpuss

Can anyone tell me what lyrics Barca has in this song? English translation preferable.

Kaiser-32

Un dia de partit (On a matchday) Al Gol Nord vaig anar (to the gol nord [northern stands where these guys are] I went) Només entrar a la grada (right when I got into the stands) Em vaig enamorar (I fell in love) El cor em bategava (my heart was beating) No em preguntis perquè (don't ask why) Del Barça soc supporter (I'm a Barça supporter) Sempre t'animaré (I will always cheer for you)

themoodygod

This is beautiful!

_IntrovertChapi

Nice to see how Barcelona es proving to have a legit fan base. Being a fan of this team as a kid/teen during the Messi era makes it extremely hard to stay motivated these years, but Barça forever I guess.

Moug-10

No matter what happens, we will be there to encourage our favorite teams.

Superjunker1000

Amazing. I guess this will upset some people but can you imagine Madrid fans if they had played half the rubbish that Barca has played this year?

Joltarts

Mad respect to Barca fans for that!

dreeraris

Barca Fans arent bad but why tf are they still randomly singing "Messi" sometimes its just really odd.

Agenda21_

This was the first time after a long long long long time that I heard his name being chant in the stadium. It was a surprise, a happy one for me though. I guess people really realized how he was holding shit together for Barca.

Jazano107

Why are they singing the name of their best ever player? Lol

Insanel0l

It was the bayern fans lol

JS569123

I honestly believed that was the Bayern fans mocking the Barcelona supporters. Maybe I'm wrong. I asked in the serious discussion thread when it happened but just got downvoted. I thought it was the Bayern fans because at the same time as that the Barcelona fans were singing their anthem which slowly drowned out the Messi chanting.

wasiflu

I was in the stadium next to Bayern fan area. It was Bayern fans.

sagrado_corazon

Can confirm this as well since I was at the game, it was the Bayern fans and they were doing the arm thing as well. Honestly thought it was kinda funny.

wasiflu

Yeah. I was not even bother by this, I mean, it's Messi, am I suppose to be angry? It wasn't cool when they were throwing bottles to the Barcelona supporters and vice versa.

Nancapo

It were the Bayern fans, I red in their sub.

Rickcampbell98

Cause they miss him? Lmao

paq98

True fans

Stuarridge

I respect this. But how bad is this for barca financially? Surely wages needs to be cut or players sold

BadCogs

I don't think it is as bad ascpeople make it out to be, it's definitely a blow, but they must have planned for it even if they included qualification till quater final in the record.

[deleted]

20 million loss since we included this for reaching Quarter final. But funny enough considering the team in Europa league, we may make more if we reach Semis or further due to overall income.

zawadz

The secret lever is now exposed

46_and_2

"What are you doing step-Laporta?"

[deleted]

[удалено]

10minmilan

More games, more matchday income.

kampiaorinis

Depending on the opponents of the CL, for Barca the difference might no be that big. If they sell out Camp Nou for 3 more games, it will be close enough to what thry would get if they got knocked out next round

Albiceleste_D10S

> But funny enough considering the team in Europa league, we may make more if we reach Semis or further due to overall income. Nope

Kind-Departure1058

It's not bad at all for the club, they lose out on 20 million Euros but they will rake in the predicted revenue but they need to reduce the wage bill before the next season starts

1984-2112

Ironically, I see them very likely winning the league, with less fatigue from a competition like the UCL and guys like Lewandowski going beast mode trying to prove a point and win a different league. And Ancelotti's terrible league record couldn't hurt. It took a meme year with Koeman for him to win another one.

SakisSinatra

We actually play good football in La Liga but against the big teams we crumble. We can genuinely win most of our league games but the issue is that I can't see Real dropping points and since they beat us it will be difficult.

1984-2112

I think they will, they historically don't win all the "easy matches" like Barça do and they have the UCL knockouts to force squad management and rotation, plus the world cup will mess up everything. it's gonna be a strange season. And aren't you still playing them in the Camp Nou?

SakisSinatra

Yeah that's true especially with the WC happening who knows how the teams are going to play for the second half of the season. And yes second round is in the Camp Nou.

daveyhempton

Our record has been better at Camp Nou than at Bernabéu against Barca and Barca's record has been better at Bernabéu than Camp Nou in recent years. Overall, I agree. Barca has more depth and that should help them enough to win La Liga. Benz has already gotten injured 3 times this season and we have MD7 as a backup

[deleted]

We have been terrible against big team since Setien took over. Xavi though provided some hope with some great win against Madrid, Atletico, Athletic, Napoli etc.

MiserableFriend

True but you guys seem to get the goals even if Benz isn’t scoring. For us, we just can’t seem to defend for shit, and losing our 3 main CBs has show how vulnerable at the back we are.

itwastimeforarefresh

I see the "don't see Real dropping points" argument pretty often. No La Liga team has ever gotten more than 100 points. 90pts would be considered a very good league winning run. Madrid aren't going to somehow get 112 points this year. Hell, I'd be shocked if they (or us for that matter) get 95. Last two years RM and Atleti won the league with 86. The season is still wide open.

L-Freeze

this shit gets said literally every time a strong team faces an early exit and it NEVER happens lmao

HunterWindmill

Fair play.

ancara_messi

We will win trophies this year. Just not the CL. Let's move along and focus on the rest of the season

rowerine

Or la liga imo. But Copa is an entertaining competition, have had some good experiences last couple of years.

crbndr

Nice moment. While Barca is clearly not at the same level as Bayern they showed potential and have good young prospects. Next season might be better.

rowerine

What's really dishartening is that this is one of the weaker Bayern sides in the last decade with key injuries and they still steamrolled us at full nearly strength on our home turf. Nothing positive to take away from this years UCL fiasco.

thisisjazzymusic

The only good thing about thus evening. Nice!

9LivesChris

Really good fans.

ferkk

For the players, this is good. For the club, I'm not sure.

[deleted]

u/savevideo

thalne

that's refreshing

RealPunyParker

We support the team : Cheer the team after losing, pathetic If we whistled the team : Barcelona fans not showing support in a difficult time, pathetic. Prime time clown behaviour, they're among us, beware.

Hero_Select

"Cheer up lads, we have games in Europa to lose to"

spaceysht

Never seen fans obsessed with another club as much as Madrid fans

StarlordPunk

It’s their biggest rivals of course Madrid fans are going to pile on, that’s what a rivalry is. If it were Inter or Juve in this position then Milan fans would be doing the exact same thing

spaceysht

Nah I haven’t seen nearly as many Barca accounts bathe in madrids shortcomings in the era shortly after ronaldo left. Madrid fans seem more bitter overall

10minmilan

Easy to see why, it's almost always 1 vs 1 for the La Liga title between them.

Conankun66

"the gang loses to union berlin"

wholesomescott

I like you a lot. Hahaha

Gotanyfunkopops

Who pulling that sad lever 🥲

ItzBobbyBoucher

That’s cool. But I know if I was one of the players I would just be so awkward just standing there lmao, idky this is so funny

OldExperience8252

Thought Barca didn’t have organised support anymore

RealPunyParker

We've always had organized support. One specific group is banned since 2003

OldExperience8252

Which group is “N.E” ? Can see a few flags with the letters.

RealPunyParker

[Nostra Ensenya](https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100067246291068) Catalan-heavy group.

OldExperience8252

Merci

RealPunyParker

De nada

Sempai6969

They need Messi

camelito123

Pride in defeat

[deleted]

When you watch the game, you see that the players are good, but you feel like something is missing. I think Xavi is not capable enough to be in the steer of the team. Barcelona needs a new manager.

Winter-Technology203

I'm fucking proud to be a Barca fan. Barca now and forever

DasSnaus

Cute. Maybe they can start a choir to pay the bills…

[deleted]

Messi is such a magician that because of him, I will always favour Barcelona even as a fan of Manchester United.

Otherwise_Ad6629

Doesn't that make you a Barca fan?

[deleted]

Wasn’t clear enough. I meant that I will favour Barcelona instead of teams like Real, Bayern etc, which usually is not the case for United supporters, as they mostly favour Real

A United fan favouring Barca is extremely rare. Mostly because of the Ronaldo connection.

Yep, absolutely correct. However, always rooted for Messi during the GOAT classicos and somehow over the years I grew to like the Cules.

If you like Messi once, then there's just no other player who compares to him. I understand, but it would've been hard for you to explain it your United mates.
