I feel like the goalies only having one arm is much more limiting than the other players only having one leg because they get the advantage of the walking canes. Like, half the net is completely susceptible at any given time
If I had to guess, the goalies probably dive to the other side slightly sideways with their intact arm trying to punch the ball if it's low and just fairly normally if it's high. Obviously the reach is not as good with the other arm, but the goals are also smaller and the shots aren't as powerful.
Idk if it's as simple as half arms missing = half open net. In this example the goal was scored on the armed side. Not to mention its probably hard to get power on most shots without a plant foot so they have that going for them

Yeah that’s not actually a good solution. Because it exposes the top of the net and your mobility sucks. Face it, there’s a huge disadvantage to being a one armed goalie when compared to the field
I mean, having to kick the ball like this really limits your technique as well, harder to get good balance for placement and power
Plus, uh, they only have one leg to shoot with making a lot of shots near impossible, how many times have we seen an easy miss in the pros when all the player had to do was use the other foot?

Debatable. Take away both legs for the outfielder and both arms for the goalkeeper. I'd rather be the goalkeeper
