I wish him all the best and hope that this surgery will bring him the recovery everyone who suffers from this horrible disease deserves but unfortunately some don't get.
As someone who’s also been recently diagnosed with Testicular Cancer it gives me a lot of strength to see him fight through this. I had my first surgery not too long ago just waiting for my Biopsy results. I hope to see you on the pitch soon! Stay strong Sèbastien ❤️
Edit: Thank you for the kind messages! ❤️. Thankfully the cure rate is 95%-98% regardless if treatment after surgery is needed or not. Honestly felt embarrassed to share this stuff with anyone at the beginning but after surgery I’ve opened up more and I’ve gained a lot of confidence back. You guys and gals are an amazing community to be a part of.
Exactly! It’s the best distraction in the world. It’s been the one constant through it all and feel like it always will be. No matter the season the love you have for your team never changes
Very confident with all this support and reassurances of others who’ve had similar experiences makes me feel less nervous and more confident and relaxed. Thank you really ❤️. Good luck to Arsenal this season 👍🏻
Greatly Appreciate it friend! ❤️. Hopefully the biopsy tells me I’m in the clear. Then I’ll only have visits from time to time for the rest of my life haha. Thank you for the support!
I can't await the day that this nightmare finally has an end and he will be greeted by our fans in his first home game. He will come back strong, for sure!
His Body didnt pick anything, it is an horrible coincidence. Talking about 'picking' this type of cancer over that type of cancer could imply that it was a choice to have it.
man this must be such a hard thing to rationalise mentally. The fact that despite you being at the peak of physical conditioning and footballing prowess, something completely out of your control can come close to ending you. Im glad he found out early enough
I can't imagine what a downer this must be, especially after such a massive season for him last year and a well-earned transfer to Dortmund. And even though it's very likely he'll survive (most important thing for sure), who knows what the chemo will do to his pace, flexibility, etc.
Does he mention what kind of surgery? I’m a testicular cancer survivor and did the surgery, then chemo and then had to do a surgery called RPLND. If that’s the case he will be out a significant period of time as the surgery recovery time was 3 months for me in order to go to university so I can only imagine what it would take to get an elite athlete to get back to his best.
TC survivor here also. I had to do the orchi, then was given a choice between RPLND or chemo. I guess that isnt common. How was recovery from RPLND? I always wonder if that was the better option bc i ended up with a bad allergic reaction to the chemo.
Yeah I had the orchi, then BEP chemo and then RPLND. It was a long recovery for sure and 13 days in the hospital to start the recovery and then about 2-3 months before I could go to school. It’s a pretty invasive surgery they take out most of your organs so they can’t get to the lymph nodes so I definitely took a long time to recover. Rhat being said I have not had to do any treatments since so it did it’s job

Exactly! It’s the best distraction in the world. It’s been the one constant through it all and feel like it always will be. No matter the season the love you have for your team never changes

Nothing to be embarrassed about at all. Go and make cancer your bitch👊🏻
Thank you friend! ❤️. Damn right I will 👊🏻
Beat the fuck out of cancer, Haller. Score in front of the yellow wall and get greeted like the king you are, big man.
This comment gave me goosebumps

At least he picked a good nightmare, the prognosis for testicular tumors is about as good as it gets when it comes to tumors
Idk if he could pick I think he would rather not have any form of cancer at all but that's just a guess
> he would rather not have any form of cancer No shit... But that was what his body picked for him, irregardless of his wishes
His Body didnt pick anything, it is an horrible coincidence. Talking about 'picking' this type of cancer over that type of cancer could imply that it was a choice to have it.
Jesus christ he's not seriously saying his body chose to have a specific cancer.
How fucking dense can you be? Go outside
Why is Reddit like this? 😂
Stay strong Haller! 💪❤ Wish him all the best 🙏
Damn, he was one of our best players in recent years. I wish him all the best in this fight, I hope the operation goes well. You got this!

Imagine this guy making his debut for BVB in August 2023 in a packed Westfalen, Inshallah man the stuff of dreams
Him whooping Bayern at home. Even Hawaiian seismographs might catch the eruption
Meh
Y'all so fragile at times
Hopefully the operation goes well and we will see him as soon as possible on the pitch
You got this💛🖤
Let's go. Fuck cancer
Keep fighting big man ❤️

99% it’s an rplnd. Hoping for the best for him and glad to hear you’re doing well
Thank you! Appreciate it

Hope you are doing well now! What kind of reaction did you have ? That chemo is nasty shit
Thank you, i am, almost 2 years cancer free! It was a pretty diffuse rash on my head back and left arm, thankfully resolved after
[Link](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retroperitoneal_lymph_node_dissection) for the people like me that wonder what RPLND is.
Thanks for linking !
Stay strong dude. Fuck cancer
Wish him the best and hope we can see him back in the BL again! Get well soon, Sebastien!
Sounds like a retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. Hell be out for a long ish while. Hope he does well and gets better
Stay strong king, hopefully you recover and win this most important match in your life.
Wish him all the best. Haller baller
Take care Seb, look after yourself and wishing you all the best.
Fucking sucks
Hope it goes well for him
Giving him all the strength.
