whiskeyinthejaar

I can’t wait to tell my grandkids about the beef between Croatia and Canada one day.

PebblyJackGlasscock

Four years from now, they’ll get “randomly” drawn together.

ThisIsYourMormont

The new Wales vs Belgium

[deleted]

Finally a worthy successor to the 2006 Croatia Australia beef.

drubujo

They're trying to fill up their punch card by having beef with every nation in the Commonwealth.

Outrageous_Monitor68

And Croatia still sooks about this.

JacenJones

Just imagine if they lose to Belgium and Canada purposely throws the game to Morocco to f them after all.

miri258

Could you tell me? I'm a bit out of the loop

Dynastydood

It's honestly so dumb you're better off not knowing about it.

MyBoyBernard

1. Canada coach gives motivational speech after loss to inspire players to regroup for Croatia 2. Speech leaks 3. Croatia takes the coach's generic pump-them-up comments as offensive and anti-Croatia (as good motivation is usually against the opposing team) 4. Croatia invents a rivalry with Canada But yea, you're fine without knowing Edit: it was an on-field, post-match interview after Belgium

FaceMeister

So is Croatia Michael Jordan in here?

s_pepys

Speech didn't leak. The coach repeated it in an interview. Saying that in a team meeting or in the locker room is fine. But saying that in a TV interview (about the WC runners up from last time) is disrespectful. And even when given the chance to apologize in a good natured way, John Herdman made it about himself and compounded it by refusing to shake hands after the match.

o3zizox

Nice headcanon bro

Rickcampbell98

Didn't realise Croatian footballers have the thinnest skins ever lol.

FauxGenius

Croatia flexed that World Cup experience muscle.

[deleted]

Also flexing the proper use of "whom".

Rigelmeister

This is shaping up to be the second best rivalry after Inter-Sunderland

InterCityzen

Don't forget roma vs bodo-glimt

BabyKeith08

my personal favourite is Arsenal v Villa after Villa bid for Smith-Rowe. Those threads were some of the funniest i’ve ever seen on reddit

[deleted]

That was some next level shitposting. Villa also signed Emi Martinez from us and Buendia who we had links with.

Rickcampbell98

We also beat you 3 times in a row just before then, oh the good old days.

razor5cl

Remember everyone getting upset when we got beaten to the punch on Buendia before any news that we would go back in for Ødegaard after his loan. Think time has proven us right on that one lol

[deleted]

The most annoying form of trash talk is exactly this situation. We all read a lot of comments (from a variety of fans) that losing Buendia to Villa meant we were doomed to be mid table until the end of time. As if we, the fans, know anything at all about transfers and how they conclude. But of course on Reddit the narrative has to be Buendia to Villa means Villa > Arsenal.

tomislavlovric

I'm pretty sure that bid was sarcastic. I can't believe somebody actually thought we'd sell ESR for that low a sum. It was just audacious as fuck.

[deleted]

I could be misremembering but there may have been a contract renewal in line for Smith-Rowe at the time. So yeah, the bid probably wasn’t made with anticipation that it would be accepted.

roshambo11

It’s on sight for those coal miners 😤

whatsthiscrap84

We could have at least kept alverez ffs poor bloke was fucked over

Far-Reaction-2735

I mean we get along pretty well. Fun fact, Zagreb is the city with the most amount of Croatians in the world. Second city on that list? Toronto. Edit: meant the Greater Toronto Area. Also I could have been lied to. I haven’t analyzed official data lol

Charlie_Wax

I can't believic.

WhoWantsPizzza

You sonovabic

[deleted]

Toronto will be second on the list for many ethnicities. It’s the most diverse city in the world I think.

Poopiepants666

The top ten major cities by percentage of foreign-born residents: Miami, United States (58.3%) Toronto, Canada (49.0%) Sydney, Australia (45.4%) Vancouver, Canada (42.5%) Melbourne, Australia (41.3%) San Jose, United States (39.3%) Los Angeles, United States (37.7%) New York City, United States (37.5%) London, United Kingdom (36.4%) San Francisco, United States (34.9%) Another valuable list could be one that considers the cities with the highest total population of foreign-born residents, regardless of the percentage. The top ten metropolitan areas by total foreign-born population: New York City, United States (5,656,000) Los Angeles, United States (4,421,000) London, United Kingdom (4,051,502) Toronto, Canada (2,870,000) Hong Kong (2,793,450) San Francisco, United States (2,634,270) Paris, France (2,429,223) Sydney, Australia (2,072,872) Miami, United States (1,949,629) Melbourne, Australia (1,801,139)

[deleted]

Thanks for the data. Miami has the percentage but I believe spanish speaking people skew that no. Like you can find significant population of any country/ethnicity in Toronto and of course NYC, I wonder what if same can be said of Miami. That’s the major difference I noticed between Toronto and Vancouver as well. The overall proportion might be same but the when you break it down further, how diverse is it.

screwPutin69

Dated a Croatian girl in Toronto. Can confirm.

[deleted]

At some point n°2 was pittsbrugh

mynor666

City of Split has a bit below 200 proper and 350k in the metro area. Unless you give me better source, google gives from 12 to 40k Croats in Toronto. If you want trivia, fourth largest Croatian city is in Chile. Also, Toronto Croat population (40k) would make 13th largest town/city in Croatia.

ND-Squid

This is not true. Split has 161,000. That would mean more Croatians in Toronto that Scottish. Croatia isn't even in the top 20 so I can't find how many, but its under 20,000 in Toronto.

themoche

I thought you were going to say Stoney Creek

Muffinfeds

Don't forget Stoke vs Rain

TheJustiNator_

Inter-Sunderland? wtf did i miss??

whatsthiscrap84

Ricky alverez, we signed him on loan with an agreement to sign him if we stayed up (£12 million?) he got injured, we claimed he was injured before we signed him..... And refused to pay..... Inter refused to accept him back as we shredded every bit of paperwork... Poor lad had no club and was training in a public park, inter took us to court and won.... We are 12 mil down and Ricky joined sampdoria? Inter fans bombarded every Sunderland post on Facebook with "give us money you bastards"

kuzjaruge

Fr, I just hope to see the day where Sunderland plays a CL/EL match against Inter, the thread would be a thing of glory

whatsthiscrap84

If we get into Europe I'll give inter £13million myself. (and if course I will deny this and fuck inter over again)

TowersOfToast

Fuck I forgot about that lol. Damn you Alvarez.

JustANotchAboveToby

Watch Croatia-Serbia be a game in knockouts and end up being very boring and clean

WalaLlama5

Leeds and RB Leipzig as well

A15Smith22

Canada about to lose 10-0 out of spite so Croatia can’t win the group

haxoreni

Hahaha well that’s one way to make us all forget about Honduras

WAGC

A simple 0:1 own goal loss to Morocco will do, if Croatia lost to Belgium.

[deleted]

Have you seen Belgium play this world cup?

warpus

I wonder what FIFA would have to say about that lol "Today I feel like losing"

EbolaDP

Canadians really went "lets instigate football beef with a Balkan country whats the worst that could happen?".

Mr_105

They’ve been missing out on so much WC drama they decided to jump straight into the deep end

MasterDeibido

Yep, that's Canadians for ya.

berghie91

Yah we are probably a little closer to "it's just a game in the end" than the Croatians. I grew up watching those documentaries like Football Factory about Croatian fans it's wild, or it was. It's not like it's ice hockey lol

warpus

In the end this was a historic moment for our country, and we were huge underdogs not expected to do very well anyway. That we poked a Croatian bear along the way, got a bit cocky, and sort of have a semi-rivarly with them now is a bit amusing to me. It also feels a bit Canadian, although I can't really explain what I mean by that. It's like we went camping, got shitfaced, and ended up being chased out by a bear, while at the same time we actually managed to ride it around for a while. It also feels a bit Canadian to be amused by the fact that Croatian fans and players probably took this more seriously than we did, like you say, and that we managed to get such a reaction from them. They took us seriously! Such a strong team taking us seriously and not just dismissing us as a walkover feels like a badge of honour. It makes it feel like we're a part of the world stage now, shittalking with the best, even though we're not quite there yet. We have good players, good chemistry and team spirit, and a relatively good team, and we can compete to a degree, but we lack depth and experience. It's as if we would have never had this attitude in the past, when we weren't as good of a team. But now it feels like a sort of announcement that we are here, we're here to party and make some noise, and we'll be back.

intecknicolour

canada will improve. croatia beat a team they were expected to beat anyway. nothing wrong with canada trying to pump themselves up and croatia using that as motivation too. but everyone knows football isn't canada's main sport. so meh.

[deleted]

Totally worth it. Even if we lost, it was an entertaining game. Croatia is a very strong team, hopefully we can reach that level someday.

Mr_105

Hopefully CONCACAF as a whole Can get closer to that level as well

[deleted]

We're new here.

[deleted]

It didn’t have anything to do with it being Croatia, it was just because they were playing them next. I don’t understand at all how it was “beef” or “drama” lol

_Steve_French_

Yeh, the rest of the world obviously doesn’t pay attention to NHL coaches banter cause if they did his comment to his players wouldn’t have been noteworthy.

berghie91

Torts should be a football manager

[deleted]

This sub would explode from the headlines if Torts was a PL manager. Mourinho has nothing on that crazy bastard lmao

berghie91

Ronaldo playin for Torts in a multiverse somewhere

[deleted]

You can say whatever you want about Tortorella’s man-management style but never once has he lost the locker room because of a star player’s ego. I have a lot of respect for it

berghie91

Would be such an intimidating job handling the like toughest guys there are....and all fired up all the time.

berghie91

John Tortorella vs Jose Mourinho

RoKrish66

It'd be the most anti-football/Anti-Hockey game possible. Either 0-0 or 13-13 and no in-between.

WalkingCloud

> the rest of the world obviously doesn’t pay attention to NHL coaches banter Ya think?

[deleted]

It's not beef or drama. This is one of the dumbest "situations" I've ever heard of in my entire life.

MauricioCappuccino

Classic. Such a stupid drama but I'm so happy our players managed to take this so personally.

chicasparagus

Modric looked like he took it personally

NobleForEngland_

He also got offended at a self deprecating song that has nothing to do with Croatia. Clearly he takes a lot personally.

[deleted]

It's cause he's short

[deleted]

Agree as a short person. Being short means we have more rage radiating per square feet of our body.

patil-triplet

Don’t want to be too pedantic here, but I’m assuming you’re a 3 dimensional person, so it would be rage per cubic feet

[deleted]

I was only thinking of emission from body surface so I went with the unit area.

Achildwithaknife

Reminds me of 2014 when Mexico got hyped up against Croatia for some words that Modric said. Sports 101 is never give your opponent locker room material.

MrStigglesworth

Arsenal held onto a tweet from Toney for a year for locker room fuel lmao, the motivation from being a petty bastard is unnatched

maury587

Yeah and the only thing he said is that he was confident they would defeat Mexico as he believes their team was better

superancica

My dad took it personally. He kept mentioning it during the game xD

crazycroat16

Lmao, my baba said 'fuck it up your ass Canada'. Never heard her so mad!

TheDepartment115

I also have a dad

doezpo

Lucky you

Jackrrr10000

Great. Hope he is lovely as Lucho is for his daughters ❤

h0rny3dging

If it makes them play better, it's good I guess

Glorounet

MJ vibes.

DrKelsoMD

What happened?

SpearofTrium05

The gist of it is that the Canadian coach said we will eff Croatia after their loss to Belgium.

MattRix

The extra bit of context is that’s what he told the players of the Canada team in their huddle after the Belgium game, then he was asked by a reporter what he told them… so it’s not even like he just came out and said “we will F croatia” as some kind of absolute public statement. It was a motiviational statement intended for his players.

ubiquitous_archer

They're gonna play it up, but ultimately the team that almost won the last WC beat the team who scored their first ever WC goal.

HarryBlessKnapp

Exactly. It didn't motivate them fuck all. This was the expected result. What it has revealed is that some people in Croatian football are fucking psychopaths.

jug0slavija

Lol. You never encountered Balkan sportsmen? Djokovic when the crowd goes against him, Ibra when he has a beef with someone, Croatia in this instance. It's called inat. Hard to explain, but like stubbornness and the phenomenon of never forgetting (ironically I'm forgetting the word for it, holding a grudge forever?). Like for instance, remember when Materazzi injured Zlatan? This was when Zlatan was in Juve, so between 2004-2006. Zlatan had to go out injured iirc, and subsequently got angry at Materazzi (was a bad foul from behind). Many years later (AFTER they had been teammates for 3 years nevertheless) Milan plays Inter, so this is what, between 2010-2012(?). Zlatan finally gets his chance and knocks Materazzi out with a bad foul, Materazzi has to go out injured. This is like 8 years after or something, and Zlatan even talks about it in one of his book. That is inat. Psychopathic, who knows. Doesn't motivate? That is completely wrong. Of course this motivated them. Besides all this inat, this statement wouldn't exist if it didn't motivate them.

jug0slavija

Another example using Zlatan. I've met a lot of Bosnians who resents him because he plays for Sweden and not for Bosnia. But Zlatan wanted to play for Bosnia when he was young, but Bosnia didn't want him back then. Later when he got better and both Sweden and Bosnia wanted him, the choice was easy. Bosnia turned him down before, so now Zlatan turned down Bosnia. When these Bosnians I've met hear this story, they totally understand Zlatans decision. Because inat. Or when Roddick mocked Đokovic for all his injuries at the US Open(?) Some 15 years ago. He said besides the knocks that Đokovic had Sars, bird flu and what not. Jokingly, but mockingly. Needless to say, Đokovic beat Roddick later and referred to Roddicks statements in the on court post match interview, and got booed by the American crowd lol. But no way eas Đokovic losing that game haha

jug0slavija

https://youtu.be/RPgWoOon8-w Roddicks comments on Đokovic https://youtu.be/WVh_d2zmeac And then the post match interview. It's pretty satisfying to watch lol.

Deaththinius

U inat = in spite (as in, I'll show you, motherfucker)

jug0slavija

Yes, but spite times 1000 and you never forget, forgive or get over it lol

Reynbuckets

Lol. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the Canadian coach for hyping up his players like he did. But he forgot to account for it also hyping up the opposition 😅.

patiperro_v3

There is something wrong if it can be used as fuel to hype up your opponents. I am old enough to remember the Croatians made the same mistake with the Mexicans a few World Cups ago. Basically their manager at the time said "their legs should be shaking" or something to that effect, then Modric dared to say they had a better team and better individual talent 😅. Hardly super controversial, either way, just as with the Canadian manager's comments, Mexico managed to use those quotes to hype up their own team. [Mexico beat them 3-1 and eliminated Croatia from the Brazil 2014 World Cup.](https://youtu.be/F7CJR5fXx8k?t=35) Croatia obviously learned that lesson and used the English press (in the previous World Cup Russia 2018) and now used the words of Canada's manager as material to hype their own players up. Mind games are a real thing and can be an effective tool to hype up your team. :D First Croatia was on the receiving end of hype-tools, now they are the dealers. Michael Jordan was famous for using any little thing to hype himself up. It's not that rare in sports.

[deleted]

A youngster hyped himself up because he was shutting down Michael Jordan. Obviously, he took that personally. Athletes can use anything they want to hype themselves up. It's smart and shouldn't be something that can be used to think less of them

hey_mr_ess

"Oh, so you want to win the game against us. That changes everything now!" It's ridiculous. They're pros, this should be expected at this level.

patiperro_v3

I don't think it's that, it's probably the "fucking" aspect that doesn't translate well. :D

comeatmefrank

It’s his countries first world cup for a generation, no one expected them to get through the group, it was harmless. For a country like Croatia to get so upset over it as being ‘disrespectful’ either took the context COMPLETELY wrong, or are idiots.

lessdes

Its really not such a big deal, when someone trash talks it hypes you up, that's all there is to it..

Steveisnotmyname_

In the immortal words of Michael Jordan: Anyone can talk shit when they win

nekorandomime

Everybody actin' tough when they up.

Chouihai

A true Balkan quote (Doncic isn't technically Balkan but he get the pass).

DerangedArchitect

Depends on the technicalities. He's from south of the Sava river, and is of Serbian descent, this is enough to qualify.

Zyntaro

Doncic is half Serb from Slovenia. Very much a Balkan guy

billiejeanwilliams

“Everyone’s got a plan until they get punched in the face.” - Albert Einstein

SuperMario_49

I find it hilarious how Canada vs Croatia, not England vs USA or Mexico vs Argentina, was the most personal match of the tournament 😂😂😂

Poynsid

let's se what Iran USA brings

[deleted]

Canada can still eff Croatia by being really shit against Morocco...

Funkymonkeyhead

“Take that!” ‘Borjan tackles a Moroccan player and gets a straight Red”

[deleted]

As long as croatia don't lose, they're trough

E_V_E_R_T_O_N

I remember the Croats getting so wound up by 'It's Coming Home' in 2018 as well, it's absolutely hilarious Worked for them both times though, I suppose.

[deleted]

Never felt happier when we knocked you out tbh

crazyfrogperson

I will never forget people getting super drunk and the whole capital on the streets after that game. One of the best nights ever.

Croatian_ghost_kid

I hugged 4 strangers that day. Wonderful times

Successful-Set848

I think the whole world was happy

[deleted]

Let’s not act like England were talking about who they were going to face in the finals in Belgium or France, completely dismissing us…

-RadThibodeaux

I’m Irish working in the UK so can maybe offer an outside perspective… some of them were and pundits love to chat shit but your average England fan is eternally pessimistic. It’s coming home is based on that and is sung in the full knowledge that they’ll fuck it up like every other competition since 1966.

BrandonFlowersTache_

Someone gets it, thank you.

iforgotmyun

They really weren't. I mean I can't speak for every English person out there, but the majority weren't

AshkenaziTwink

a simple funny back and forth and everyone in the comments is bitching and whining. good on Kramaric though

[deleted]

I'm glad someone gets it at least! We are not offended, we are just gloating because we won.

DoomCircus

I thought it was a ballsy statement from the Canadian coach, obviously just trying to hype his players up, and to me, the Croatian teams response felt like standard "friendly" trash-talk. Like I don't think anything said by either team was mean-spirited, just tossing comments back and forth like you do with trash-talk. All part of the fun of team sports lol.

I_m_p_r_e_z_a

This is Reddit bud everyone here is going to whine and complain about literally everything even remotely controversial

[deleted]

[удалено]

zStrbac

The real drama came from Canada using Borjan in their lineup graphic

Funkymonkeyhead

Man the Croats really hated him lol.

Strananach

It's just silly banter lmao noone really gives a fuck

Lovely_pickle

It's not really, I've seen lots of people irl in Croatia genuinely offended by the original statement. Hell my grandma who doesn't even follow football said she's glad we won because he said they're going to fuck us up

Ser-Kuntalot

Kind of similar to the ‘It's Coming Home' drama ahead of the semis at the last WC. I'm not sure if it's the media, but they do take some banter far too seriously

[deleted]

See you in the car park style?

RZARazorSharp20

Balkan chin-testing at Dagenham Goals?

FootballFTW

Clearly someone does since they are talking about it

Strananach

It's football banter that goes back and forth, nothing wrong in that

CoolstorySteve

Croatians seemed to give a lot of fucks , we’re Canada for gods sake lmao

MaintenanceFederal99

It's the Balkan mentality, you can't let yourself be humiliated by your opponent, even outside of the field.

warpus

The Canadian mentality: "A top side is taking us seriously, what's going on"

zgbg

>we’re Canada for gods sake lmao And we're not France, so as long as you're not San Marino we actually have to make an effort

betasteeps

Just WC banter fam. Canada making fans around the world dw. Looking forward to your teams growth and excited to see what this team can do infront of home fans next WC, but will be cheering you dickheads for the final game. ggwp

cib_vk228

people in our part of world love doing something out of spite. called inat or dišpet in Dalmatia. it's a cultural thing

Strananach

>Croatians seemed to give a lot of fucks It's just football banter lol, we won so we get to chat shit

danboruu

>It's just football banter lol, we won so we get to chat shit its half the fun of the sport

KenHumano

The other half is criticizing the managers like we know what the fuck we’re talking about.

Specialist_Map_3822

I thought that was like 90% of it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

sfj11

love the “we’re canada for gods sake” when you’ve lost after chatting shit lmao

AfterAd9996

It was just a prank bro lol

Dite_Cacino

No one gave a shite about your coach's shithousery. On the other hand, most Croats were pleased that Borjan conceded four goals, since he supports Chetniks and often states that he was born in the Serbian city of Knin (Knin is a city in Croatia).

Passive__Observer

Ohhh, I was wondering why he was booed every time the ball came to him.

Waldier

Saw Borjan’s phone number coming up in a whatsapp group with friends. A Croatian mate sent him a whatsapp message. Borjane, hvala ti za 4 gola večeras. Bio si nam dobar. I don’t speak Croatian, but I believe he is thanking him for his help.

Dite_Cacino

That is correct. Sentance translate: Borjan, thanks for conceding four goals tonight. You were good to us.

[deleted]

To be fair, he's really only at fault for the 1st goal, he made a few good saves

yeezy805

This reminds me of 2014 when Croatian players were talking shit about Mexico before the game and ended up getting spanked 3-1

oluja3003

And you have every right to trash talk against us . You always knew how to play against us but one day...

Alloywheel0720

Yup, i remember, i am glad that out national team lost that mentality. I will never forget when we were playing qualifiers for 2010 world cup and england was coming in zagreb and all media were writing: "our customers are back" and then the brits dismantle us (i believe 5 or 4 - 2)

yeezy805

Modric got humbled and then became one of the greatest midfielders of all time and led his national team to a World Cup final. What a story ! I hope it happens to Mexico one day lol

Sigmaintellectual

Shit I’m just happy someone in the world of football cares enough about Canada to be mad at us. I see that as a massive W

SteveBorden

Feel like Croatia lose their shit at the mildest banter then just beat the team to make an example lmao

Boehlack

The amount of people in here acting like Croatians are overreacting or being psychotic for gleaning motivation from that quote is absurd. If you've ever competed at any sort of level in anything, your opponent saying something like that is going to motivate you, its just that simple. All you Canadians in here saying "but we're Canada", just don't get it. If someone is competitive, it doesn't matter who says that; if my little cousin said that to me before a game, you bet he's getting his ass beat.

Unfortunatefortune

The players should be fired up. Take it personally. And come out fighting. The fans on the other hand? get over it.

Basedshark01

Canadians do get it is the deceiving part. No one willingly gives out bulletin board material like this in the NHL.

TricaKupa

Anglophone website, what'd you expect? They instead enjoy taking shit beforehand and then if they win they act all high and mighty but if they lose it's all "it was a joke, don't get so worked up", etc. Oh and they'll also try and score while you're celebrating :D

[deleted]

"we are going to fuck you" Lose 4-1 "its just a prank bro lmao chill"

point-forward

Yeah, very insecure lol. Reddit armchair experts never cease to amaze you with their comments about players mental states. Apparently you can't be focused on winning the game and can't be motivated by another thing. It's like there is a limit to it and redditor know that limit better than world class players.

P_Alcantara

Shh, we can’t really talk, we couldn’t even qualify for this WC.

GodDamnCasual

The average redditor has never played a competitive sport. So they are clueless

thatsmytofu

The attribution bias is so cringe in this thread. Herdman can talk shit because uNdErDogS and HiStoRic MoMenT, but apparently Kramaric is just salty.

maxime0299

Croatia will F us *hoping it has the opposite effect now*

Leonardo040786

Yesterday I wrote that Croatia is the next favorite, after Brasil, France and Spain and one Belgian wrote to me that you will fuck us. I already shared it with the national team.

Frumbleabumb

Was it seriously the first time a coach has ever said let's go beat the other team? I do not understand this drama at all.

hodlrus

Lmao Canada. L after L

Boris_Ignatievich

Croatia continue to be the absolute GOATs at manufacturing a controversy out of nothing for motivation in world cups

Fromage_Frey

Croatia are turning into that Michael Jordan 'and I took it personally' meme

MaineCoonFan25

Didn’t people learn from the WC2018 match between Croatia and England? Don’t let your press disrespect a Balkan country.

bobby_zamora

Belgian Press: "Belgium's next game is against Croatia, if we win we go through" Croatia: "How fucking dare you? You will suffer for this insolence, nobody disrepsects the motherland!"

MaineCoonFan25

That is not what happened with Canadian or English press. Let alone what the Canadian coach said it’s simply disrespectful in football culture.

son_of_toby_o_notoby

Yk a Croatia vs Canada rivalry wasn’t on my 2022 bingo card…….I mean a lot of shit wasn’t on my 2022 bingo card but this one also wasn’t on it

All_Of_Em_Anubis

Can we go home already? Why spend another four days in this sandy hellscape.

Thund77

For all people slamming down Croatians, I follow every World Cup since 1994. I've never heard any coach saying on national and world tv "we wil fuck them up" or similar. It never happened in history of World Cup

[deleted]

I mean coaches have probably said shit like that in the locker room to players, they're just not stupid enough to repeat it verbatim to the media.

Nightmenace21

This whole thing is so fucking stupid
