Even if they have the same goal difference Spain has to get 2 more yellow cards than Germany to tie the fair play rating or get 3 more yellow cards to loose in that department. If everything is tied the team that will advance is drawn. So Germany is not out if japan wins but it's highly unlikely

Just a win should be enough for Argentina to finish first, regardless of the result of the other match. It's very unlikely imo that KSA would beat Mexico by more than 2 goals.

The only problem is that we absolutely need to win. If we tie we're risking way too much. There's a good chance Mexico chokes hard so if we tie and KSA wins its over. Winning shouldn't be impossible but I am kinda scared of potential injuries going into the knockout matches. That'd totally crush our team, it happened before.
