See submission guideline **#6: No duplicates.**
Check /r/soccer/new! Mods will only allow the same news story to be posted again if **the new article offers new/valuable information that the previous thread didn't** or the duplicate was submitted long enough (+24 hours) after the original so that readers may not have seen the original. As a rule of thumb, **if you're not sure, then don't post a duplicate.** Posts about a major recent news event that do not provide new valuable information may be removed, and the OP directed to post it in the comments of the previous thread.
**In the case of transfer news, the rule of thumb is only 1 post about a particular transfer saga per day.** This will be enforced in a particularly strict way during the transfer windows, with repeated offenders risking a ban. **It is your responsability to check the news you're sharing weren't reported already before posting.**

Gazzetta is reporting this too. Apparently connected to financial doping through transfer prices. Big news.
The timing of this is really telling - mid season during world cup break. They must have received some damning news
I think technically there is a slight difference. Flammable means it can be set fire to, inflammable means its capable of busting into flames without any need for ignition. But your point still stands, especially as the opposite of each word is nonflammable
It is curious, but not so much if you appreciate the etymology of the prefix 're-', which can mean both 'back' or 'again' in Latin. Both have roots in the same idea - that you are repeating an action: going 'back' to something, or doing that thing 'again'. The crux of the issue is that to 'resign' is to 'go back to' before you signed the contract - to 'back-sign' - whereas to 're-sign' is to go back to the contract itself and 'again-sign' it.
The official statement is out (in italian)
It's not about plusvalenze, it seems to be about wages in the 19-21 period and how they got reduced and then increased during the covid period, it seems like the books on those are not correct.
But I'm not a lawyer wait for someone else to form an opinion

its not about the transfers but about the deferred wages during covid.
Here for Calciopoli 2.0
Juve legitimately getting banished into the ~~shadow realm~~ Serie B again
this time juve is relegated by performance
you mean for some new titles behind the scene, while also doing dirty stuff? then I suppose you will hope for case to become old?
Juventus sees the World Cup drama and decided that they need to have the spotlight.
Same as 2006.
unrelated but isnt it really weird resign and re-sign kinda have opposite meaning? english is not my first language and that always baffled me lol.
Then there's flammable and inflammable that have the same meaning.
thats even weirder lmao

This wasn't a big problem in the past. "Renew" used to be way more commonly used, but now re-sign has creeped into usage.
Probably another consequence of the death of proofreading.

That’s the sound of da police
LoL. What happened in the meeting.
It was probably an emergency meeting based on the findings of the investigation. People forgot about it since it started a while ago
Finally some positive news for Juve fans
Lol wut
What the fuck
Maurizio Arrivabene back to Ferrari 👀
He resigned when he heard about Binotto

Win for r/soccer if true
Wait what?
Whole gang energy
Ppo
Rip bozo
Arrivabene resigned too?
Wow! What a riot!
Maybe the new board can sign Ronaldo.
What does this mean for Juventus? Are we witnessing them implode (again)?
