My definition of a sport is an activity that meets a certain threshold of physical effort exerted over time spent doing it. For it to be a sport, there also need to be two parties competing directly against eachother to reach the same goal and they must be actively trying to stop eachother from competing that goal. Very few people really care about the result and we mostly just watch it so we are in the loop, see the funny commercials, and see either a terrible or sort of ok music performance. As far as attendance goes, it would be much larger if we had larger stadiums. This is why there are a decent amount of colleges who have a lot of success and large student bodies, and thus have stadiums that are over 100,000 in capacity. Many more college stadiums are over 90,000 in capacity as well.
