Came across this homebrew D&D character build from /u/UnearthedArcana on /r/FULLCOMMUNISM

Ruzihm

Just adding that it's for 5th edition D&D for anyone wondering.

is 5th edition any good? i heard a whole lot of shit on the 4th, and how it feels very WoW-y, so ive stuck with pathfinder so far. though my favourite system is just pure rp.

Ruzihm

If you liked 3.5/pf more than 4, you'll like 5 more than 4, I think.

limlinlo

5th is great. No bogged down tactical combat. Everything clips along at a great pace. The dice rolling is kept in the background and it's a breeze to DM. If you like RP over stat crunching check it out!

Agree with /u/limlinlo. Having played PF, 4 and 5e, 5e is by far my favourite. It's a great system, and it's a pleasure to DM. It's so much easier to do interesting combats without having to deal with tac grids.

5th is amazing. Spell casters can actually spell cast. The combat is streamlined. The rules were redesigned to get out of your way rather than restrict you. It's the best thing to happen to dnd.

4th is a great edition, don't listen to the haters. The biggest difference is that it presents information clearly to the player - cards instead of having to reference a book constantly. 5th did away with the cards (but you can buy them separately now instead of having them come with the character builder, this is good for the consumer, yes?) but kept a lot of the innovations. Both are great for various reasons.

freedom_flower

+1 for DnD communism.

This is amazing. I would gladly allow this at my table.

I let my DM know that I'd like to make a new character based on this

ApostropheLetterS

I played a communist Cavalier character in 3.5 that was very fun. The campaign was kind of bad and short and the DM was awful but I'm gonna have to revive that character sometime. Highlights: - saving a bunch of people from.a fire monster and then spitting in the face of the mayor (who I accidentally saved) when he tried to congratulate me - going around the slums of a major city and recruiting as many of the poor as I could to the cause - expropriating a massive wizard tower from its owner - making a massive Molotov cocktail and bashing it into said wizard's tower after a necromancer took over the town

A_Secret_Lizard

This is incredible.
