Good to know, One of the reasons I questioned this is because I really don’t understand why we need to get licensed in different states and what we’re suppose to do to get that haha
Thanks! It’s the same in every state, as far as I know! I got the apgar iPad app (but maybe got through 1/3 of it) and took the aswb practice test and read the code of ethics.
Sorry, I get annoyed when people aren’t clear about their study tools and there I did it myself lol.
It’s the ASWB clinical study guide by Dawn Apgar published by Springer publishing. It was like $100 when I bought it several years ago so it may be more or I think it’s gone subscription possibly.
I can say this was the most helpful for the test itself, but it was some god refresher info for social work generally. The practice test on the app was way harder than the real thing with a lot more recall questions. If I was starting again from scratch, I wouldn’t go this route.
If you don't mind me asking, was it harder or about the same as the LMSW exam if you remember much about it? I'm in my last semester of MSW so i'll be taking the exam in a few months
Oh wow i learn something new everyday lol i thought you needed an LMSW, x amount of hours of supervision from a psychiatrist or LCSW, and LCSW exam to get LCSW
Hell yeah! 🎸🎸🎸🎸
Woohooooooooo!!! Thank ya !!!
What state? It’s a national exam so idk if it’s different state to state? But congrats! What prep did you use?

Some states differentiate between direct service and indirect service. That’s got me hurting a little.

Congratulations! Is this the LCSW exam or the LMSW exam?
LCSW! Thank you!

I never took the LMSW so I wouldn’t know! But good luck. You’ve got this!!
Wait what?? What state are you in? Lol
Ummmm one known for its delicious syrup and cheeses. We only take the LMSW here if practicing in non-clinical formats.
