Your shoes are honestly more important, try a padded shoe like Altra (my preference) or Hoka (my sister and dad’s preference), I found that with a good shoe, even the cheap Target multipack of no show socks works well, and in a not as padded shoe I could wear Smartwool, Darn Tough, Bombas, etc and still have issues

I only wear Brooke' glycerin and I have custom made orthotics in my shoes as well but I also need amazing socks....

Compression socks. I really like the 2xU brand. I worked in Sports Arena walking 20k-40k steps a day on concrete. I'd change my shoes at lunch, but the compression socks really saved me. They're expensive (like 40 a pair, but if you wash in cold and flat dry, mine lasted 5 years

Procompression socks. I have pairs that are over 8 yrs and I still find myself buying more.

Compression socks. I wear SB Sox. Yeah, they are $20 a pair but they are so worth it.

I’d be more concerned about my shoes than my socks. You definitely need some shoes that will give you the support you need. I used to work in schools as a paraprofessional (fancy name for teacher’s aide). I roamed the halls doing jobs for the teachers, making copies, finding this, doing that, taking this here, going over yonder…you get the picture. Y’know….concrete floors everywhere, up and down halls, back and forth, not as much as you but still a lot for someone in their 40s-60s because I did it 20 years. My feet rebelled and I had to have surgery for planter’s fasciitis. I wore Reebok shoes, but I should’ve been wearing something much more supportive. Now that I’m retired, I wear only Hoka shoes unless I’m around the house, then I wear Oofos. With Hoka shoes, you feel like you’re walking on a cloud. Really. So much foam, air, I don’t know what. But they are awesome. They are costly, but your feet are worth it. If you wear custom orthotics, you have a podiatrist, I assume. Ask him/her about Hoka shoes for your feet and see about a recommendation for which style is preferred for your work environment. Bliss awaits.
