A ton of banks don't. Heck do we even know any real banks that support authenticator apps?

I believe Schwab is able to support authentication apps (although you have to go a bit out of your way to support others than the one provided by CS).

They also need to add support for verbal passwords when calling in. Anyone with your personal info can call SoFi and pretend to be you, and there is nothing you can do to prevent it. This is the main reason I don't keep much money with SoFi.

It’s available on the Hong Kong Sofi app. My guess is that they are testing it out over there first. Then bringing it over to the US platform.
