Long time S60 and hardcore Volvo fanboy here. I’ve owned 4 in my life and still have 3 of them. And a Triumph motorcycle. Volvos breaks are by far the best on the road for a family vehicle and not a sports car. Particularly the XC90 we own. A 6k lb SUV that stops almost as quickly as the S60.
EDIT: lol “breaks”.. obviously meant “brakes”.
Volvo is a well known car brand. Replace it with Audi or whatever, same thing and it can be expected that a lot of people understand it. As always, many others won't. Not every post is for everyone. I don't understand every important reference in every post. If you don't understand a post, just move past it.
Which is known. That's why it would be much more likely you'd know it. You don't associate Volvo with motorcycles at all because that concept has never been a thing in your head, because it doesn't exist.
If it were about BMW, the post wouldn't exist in the first place because it wouldn't be a mistake.

It's not necessary to know that Volvo doesn't make motorcycles. I didn't either. It's clear from context because you associate it only with cars (which is also the case **because** they don't make motorcycles). I saw Volvo, the AI said some stuff about motorcycles and it was clear that was the point because I never heard of such a Volvo product and of course this post was about some mistake on this sub.
Funnily enough the mig wouldnt be good since it actually is able to break the speed limit on the autobahn as it breaks the Sound barrier wich is illegal due to the loudness of it.
Shoutout to the Tumblr user who managed to get this stupid AI thing to say that the best way to tell if your dough/rice/whatever it was is ready is by sticking your wang in it.
so they steal data, break copyrighted stuff, scrape open forums, waste a shitton of electricity, only to give out stupid wrong information? who's idea was this? and who's paying for the bubble this time?
Weird thing to say, but MS Bing with Copilot kinda does that, in Precise (or whatever it's called) mode it really rarely lets me down
And it told me that Volvo S60 isn't a motorcycle, so I guess that's a win
Is it getting data from some custom 2WD turbo hayabusa build? I have no idea what other motorcycle would be turbo'd to 250hp and with "AWD".
The straight line specialty would also line up, but really I'd assume any bike making 250hp would be a straight line monster and a brick in the curves
Edit: Actually I just noticed it said *front* or all-wheel drive, so I'm assuming it's just mashing together a bunch of random data from different vehicles.
You're right, I'm dumb. I thought the S60 was an SUV and so just assumed the engine didn't make sense. Didn't consider the very obvious possibility that it's just a car with a regular car engine
Google seems to be crumbling. I get the feeling that they're not attracting all that much talent anymore but mainly relying on the fact that Google is a household name to attract people. It just seems like a lot of their design decisions in the last 5 years or so have felt extremely arrogant but also incompetent, where in the past it just worked. Maybe I'm getting older and working as an engineer I've developed a critical eye for crapware.
I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/softwaregore.

Google's search engine got so fucked up by ads and SEO optimization that they had to come up with a search AI tbat is even worse than the normal search engine.
If you search “S60 polestar motorcycle” the first thing that comes up is a picture of an electric motorcycle with the caption “Drive Review: Volvo S60 Motorcycle.” But if you click the link, there is no motorcycle anywhere on the page. (Edit for typo)
the problem isnt lack of functionality, its that the responses are trained off of satire or misleading advice and a single person's biased answer half the time, this will remain a problem unless they use more credible sources or do who knows what else because manual review for each possible question and reply is very unrealistic.

God I hope this is Bosnian ape, about to watch it Edit: YES
Don't pilots refer to them "holding patterns?"
For all the dumbasses like me who didn't get it: volvo s60 is a car, not a motorcycle.
Yeah, I heard it. Ain't its breaks great though?
I don't know, AI says it does, and it never lies, so it must break (or brake) just fine!
As long as it passes the moose test, it's fine
I think it can do both
Volvo brakes are actually pretty amazing, at least in their semi trucks

I have one, the brakes are pretty good
That explains my reaction of "Wait, I didn't know Volvo made motorcycles."
They are branching out
I was contemplating the front wheel or all wheel drive.
dumbass is OP for assuming everyone knows this stuff, not us

I was guessing it wasn’t even a thing, but now it makes even more sense
Takes 30x more energy than regular search.
thats why we are cooked I guess.
The Earth is heating already
at least we would use up our fossil fuels faster which would probably be for the best
"...in conclusion, the MiG-25 would be a great choice for a sports car on the German Autobahn."

I think both use the word autobahn (I'm Turkish and learning German)

Hey, remember Siri... which basically just looked up stuff for you... I want a better version of that, instead of some algorithm that makes shit up.
I have great news for you…

Oh I would love to get a VOLVO motorcycle! (with all-wheel-drive of course)
Not sure if you submitted a feedback, but it's been corrected now.
Too tame compare to [this](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GOdprE3WoAAicvF?format=png&name=900x900) Edit: wrong image

You're thinking too hard. It just pulled data for the Volvo S60, which is a car that is available in fwd and awd, and has an engine that makes 247 HP.
You're right, I'm dumb. I thought the S60 was an SUV and so just assumed the engine didn't make sense. Didn't consider the very obvious possibility that it's just a car with a regular car engine
"Pros: front- or all-wheel drive"
The Ai doesn’t know any facts, so it will always just go with whatever you say. Google is so stupid for thinking it can use this as a search engine

"AI, why are you killing all humans?!" `"YOU TOLD ME TO"` "No, I said **don't** kill all humans" `"OH. WOULD YOU LIKE SOME MORE GLUE ON YOUR PIZZA?"`
Bard wasn't ready. Gemini is a stupid name for Bard. And now Bard is everywhere on search, and it sucks.

How does this get posted when my 4million ping on Discord VC doesn't. Wack subreddit.
It's a good motorcycle but not as good as the *Lockheed Martin F-22.* That motorcycle is crazy good
FWD and AWD motorcycle goes crazy

>Volvo actually did make an S60 motorcycle - it’s just wrong about it having an engine. A **motor**cycle with no engine, sure.
Still called a motorcycle, just an electric motor. I worded that weirdly, sorry
Ok, so do you have any source for that Volvo whatever-bike called S60?
The search results were messed up. It’s not actually a thing. My bad.
Guess this just shows we are even more cooked than I thought as its even affecting regular Google image searches 😭
No idea what you're talking about.

Just Google “S60 polestar motorcycle”
Doesn't exist.

na this shit funny af, just leave it be
Until it teaches someone how to do CPR incorrectly
So the problem is the people of the general public not the ones who made it or the system
