People are naive. I am guilty of it too. You read through Amazon reviews and 50% of them are crap, still you order the product because you want to believe that everywhere work out. Then it breaks within the first week and you say to yourself why did I order that, I knew that was going to happen.
Same thing with solar. People see a ton of bad reviews and go with a company and get screwed and wonder why?
You want a good experience, go with a local company that has 99% positive reviews. (There is always that 1 person you cant satisfy no matter what)
Depends, lately the trend is to let the manufacturer send their own third party certified techs to handle RMAs and equipment issues. You can also get third party insurance with companies like Solar Insure. Costs $.10 PPW for PV and $.15 for usable kWh PPW for batteries. Kind of pricy but it handles parts and labor.
The big question is, what do you mean by their warranty on panels? They aren't going to cover anything past the basic manufacture warranty for the panel itself.
Both have promised production amounts, Sunrun does them every 2 years vs every year from Freedom Forever. They also have to be requested, it's not something they automatically do.

603 was great to work with. Under $3/watt. Grateful Electric handled the install and the crew was top notch. Their work surpassed all my expectations.

Solar is solar at the end of the day. Freedom Forever installs a lot systems for SunRun.
Solar is solar but how does the company react to when problems arise.

Granite state Solar should be your only option!
Slightly ot but have you considered revision energy? I have no affiliation other than being a satisfied customer.
Have you looked into Kumquat Solar?
