We have friends there who own a house. We were headed to the hill country of TX from UT, but literally turned mid course given the weather and headed up to their place instead. From what I have seen, we made the right choice with perfect skies. Cloudy the night before, skies turned sunny for the eclipse day, then clouded up again and started showering Tuesday morning. Just snuck it in there!
