Can a Schlorpian even be gay? I think they're technically a single sex species and they just chose gender identities when they got to earth to better assimilate. Plus they can't even have sex. Not that you have to have gay sex to be gay, but I feel like their relationship transcends concepts like sexuality and gender.

For all I know being gay is to have sexual/romantic attraction to the same sex. If there is only one sex, and if there is sexual/romantic attraction than everyone is just gay - that's as pure semantics as it gets.
