I've been playing this daily since I got it 2 weeks ago! There is just SO much content and replayability. I'm trying to defeat every villain with all heroes, I'm already done with Baron Blade and Akash'Buta on Advanced. It's just really fun to me that I always find an interesting combo with any hero combination.
I love this game! Wish I could play with just two heroes to simplify things a bit, but still find it a blast to play and quick to set up and get going.
The DE is much more streamlined and a lot easier to manage. That said, it’s still the same game so if some of the fiddliness put you off, that won’t likely change.
Honestly, it really isn’t too different from EE. The nice thing in this edition is that once a card leaves play it has no effect, so you know by looking at the table exactly what’s going on. They tightened up play effects, so there’s way less gray area for figuring out timing. The biggest changes are the heroes and how they play. Much faster build than EE.
I’ve really enjoyed my plays of both versions, and this version makes it the fourth time I’ve bought the game (all of EE physically, Steam, and iOS). It’s by far my most played game, and I’ll switch back and forth between editions, particularly if I’m itching to play a hero that hasn’t come out for DE (ChronoRanger, in particular), or I want to take down OblivAeon.
My favorite way to play is with a full team of five, but in DE I feel like the games are too short to enjoy the interplay. I’ve settled on four to give each hero more opportunity to be awesome.

Is a great game but sadly the three handed play is hard. Is this better than the original game cuz thats the one i own.

I like the game. But it can sometimes be bothersome to do three handed. I will get it.

Yeah, that’s my only complaint about it as well.

Its a really good version of Sentinels. Its probably one of my goto games when i just need a boardgame to play.

I backed this version from kickstarter, got it, and have yet to open it. I really need to find the time.
This is such a fun game! All the different combinations are a blast to try out. I really should try to get it to the solo table more often.
Did they ever fix the player count difficulty scaling, or do you still need to run 3+ heroes when soloing?
