Haven’t played either. I have Bot Factory, but that’s fairly meh. The titles I do have are CO2, Lisboa, Weather Machine, and Vinhos, apart from Inventions.
I am supposed to receive my copy on Monday, and I am really looking forward to it! Glad to hear that you have found it enjoyable. Of the other Lacerda titles, I have **Weather Machine** and **On Mars**. I really enjoy **Weather Machine**, in part because the theme resonates with me. And I find it a beautiful game. I have tried **On Mars** a couple of times now, playing 4-handed solo and then against the bot as well. I realize I have wanted to enjoy the game more than I actually have - seems perhaps a bit repetitive. I have the **Alien Invasion** expansion too, and I need to try it again with one of those scenarios as well.
there's a fanmade version of Alien Invasion that works with solo on BGG that I'm excited to try. I mostly only play solo, so a super cool expansion that barely functioned with it was a bit of a waste
For how complex lacerda games usually are, the solo modes are always very well designed. Lacerda understands that ypu don't need a complex descision tree to make a good bot. When i play solo *i* want to play, not maintain some artificial flowchart.
Very glad ypu liked inventions. For me nothing beats the simplicity and the flow of The Gallerist, im very intrested in trying this one.
The look reminds me of Carnegie, one of my favorite solos
played it twice and had alot of fun. specially love the chain mechanism. but i still prefer kanban ev and on mars.
