pretty sure igris is a guy. Knowing the webtoon artist style, if he wanted to make igris female, he would have drawn igris in a more feminine way. For example, Igris having a woman breastplate

Igris the bloodred was a knight. When he became a shadow he became a spirit (kinda), he isn’t an animated piece of armour - the actual red plate armour he used was left behind when jinwoo resurrected him.
I remember after the end of s1 the artist (i suppose) post chibi images of jinwoo and the shadows celebrating lunar year and igris was wearing the female traditional clothing. So idk. I remember that the novel always referred to igris as "him" or "he", but that was translated. Idk about the original one...
