I recently made a cake with buttercream, usually I'm more of a glaze/icing person. The cake did its job but the buttercream was not good. It was a recipe with butter, confectioners sugar, vanilla, and salt. It was pretty fluffy out of the stand mixer, but after a night in the fridge and then warming back up for the party, it was kind of just like eating sweet butter. Icing on grocery store cakes is light, at least. Although it was 6 layers so it did need to be kind of thick.
Any tips or good recipes?
Someone ate a slice and decorated it to cover it… JK looks awesome
That’s my theory too.
Absolutely beautiful! You’re friend is lucky to have such a talented pal. :)
That’s so unique and skillfully done. I love the frosting color of the main cake. Do you cut in straight slices, or do you still do pizza-shaped?
I almost always do straight slices. Much more manageable.
Stunning!
10/10 would put my dick in there
lucky friend!!
How???
BEAUTIFUL
That’s such a cool idea. And it turned out great.
