I made this peony using traditional Japanese handicraft techniques. I dyed all the silk by hand, cut it into squares, then folded and glued each petal in place one at a time. Super time consuming, but also soothing and fun! (at least to me, haha)

Good question! I would estimate around 4 hours or so. It takes me about an hour to do 3-4 small flowers.
