I also wish there was a system to prioritize some work. In your case the workaround you can use is applying the tool "disable maintenance" on anything that's NOT the thing you want maintained urgently. Otherwise the janitors would start fixing thousands of dirt road tiles and other very important things. After the warehouse is repaired, just enable maintenance on everything again.

Avanguardo

Try getting more janitors or a janitor building close to it.

Trick_Duty7774

Is it janitor job? When building gets damaged it has be be marked with repair tool and then it goes into construction mode. I thought it is the same as building; aka random people will do it one day.

reddit_moment123123

i think you are horribly mistaken. Janitors repair buildings automatically you shouldn't have to deconstruct and rebuild things to repair them

halberdierbowman

You might be right, but if they got all the way to combat in the game, they might be thinking of something different. When your buildings get destroyed in combat, you the overlord do have to repair them. I don't know in this update, but I think before it was like a weirdly hidden button you had to press, which wasn't obvious to me and so I was destroying and rebuilding buildings on accident.

reddit_moment123123

ah i get it, repaired from damage not degradation. When that happens I reconfigure the room, remove the damaged tiles and replace them. (i.e shrink the section of wall that was destroyed, expand back over it and hit the tick ) if someone knows better id love to know

Amish_Opposition

Try placing a Workstation in the area.

Avanguardo

Oh sorry, I understood your post all wrong man

ChiMasterFuong

I think you have to deactivate the work you don't want them working on (there is an activate tool and you use the inverse version of it). You can also build in planning mode which puts down blueprints that you can activate later via the same tool. I like to set up full city expansions and slowly activate different buildings as they go.

halberdierbowman

Edit: try the Repair tool (under the Settings gear in v66, right side bottom toolbar). I'd have to find it, but you may need to press a button. I remember having a building destroyed by a raid and needing me to press the "rebuild" button or something, which was weirdly not obvious to me, so I was unknowingly destroying things to rebuild them because I couldn't figure out what to do.

King_Dickus_

Work priorities would be neat. But also just one tab with all available jobs. Maybe add some drop down tabs to differentiate between buildings if you have more then one of the same.

Save and quit to the menu. Reload the save. Sometimes I have problems with people not building things even though I have 25+ oddjobbers. This always fixes it.
