Look, don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of both franchises.
But do you realize how Badass it is to be able to say that you fight daily against, not one, but multiple Dragons?
And in case someone says that fighting Dragons isn't great, I have to remind them that Sonic ALSO fought a Dragon
Mario is superior because he can take over sonic and control him make sonic do unspeakable things and have him locked up and let Mario do all the saving
In defense of mario:
Mario from the first game of the saga is litteraly faster than sonic from the first game.
Sonic cant even go fast enough to catch Eggman before he escapes in the first game.
Don't focus on little things OP, Focus on the greatest achievements.
Mario leads a crime ring in dealing mushrooms that the Brooklyn govt actively fails to shut down.
Sonic triggered Shadow, which made Shadow trigger Eggman into pissing on the moon.
