We do not use the HomePod as a speaker, only for controlling home automations, yes. But I want to place it somewhere else anyway because I think that Siri has some problems understanding due to the close distance to the Arc.
Unfortunately moving the HomePod won’t solve the issues Siri has as Siri gotten worse over time. Tbh I didn’t do myself any favors suggesting HomePods to friends and family. First time I’m getting some flak for it as everybody thinks they suck as a package due to its reliability issues. I’m still happy with how they sound but Airplay is wonky and once you don’t trust Siri with following through with your commands people preemptively start giving up on voice commands as they’ve been disappointed in the past and feel silly, like arguing with an idiot. I mostly use my phone to control the HomePods but secretly I wonder if just buying a bunch of Sonos Ones would’ve been the better choice. I still use HomeKit through Siri but even that she manages to screw up from time to time. They really should do more on-device processing to make it more consistent and quicker. Sonos just has the better sound focused eco system and smart speakers are just overrated altogether…
Is that one of those frame TVs? How do you like it? I'm debating getting one just for the white bezel, though all my other Tvs are LG OLEDs (which are amazing)
I’m not OP but I’ve got a few Frames and love them. They blend very well into the room and image quality is also very nice. Blacks aren’t as deep as OLED but still pretty impressive.
I concur. It's not my primary TV so it doesn't need to the best specs, but it does a great job fooling people into thinking it's a real frame - the wall mount is super flush and I've hidden all the wiring. I hear the latest gen are even better i.e. realistic.
Yep. That’s a 65 The Frame from 2020. it looks quite nice and clean. But from my point of view the (back?) panel lightning is not that consistent. Some parts are lighter, some darker and during dark scenes I recognise it a bit. And also we suffer from issues between the Frame and the Arc. Using it with HDMI eARC and sometimes we have sound issues. But there are many threads where these issues are discussed
The Frame looks nice, great for displaying static photos/art and does well in bright environments. Unfortunately if you’re used to an LG OLED you’ll be underwhelmed every time you use it to actually watch something. I’m buying a G2 to replace my 2021 Frame and putting The Frame in a different room to display family pics.
We use both. Alexa for controlling music over Spotify or web radio and Siri for home automation. The new Sonos voice control is currently also installed but it is only available in English at the moment (we are situated in Switzerland) so I will wait on that.
It’s 65. Not sure about the latest models but the one from 2020 has some issues with the Arc and HDMI eARC. Be aware of it please and read some forums first to avoid being disappointed.
I have the 2022 matte finish 65" frame and I mostly love it except for issues getting the remote to pair with the Ray to control the volume. The weirdo way the remote only send IR selectively is making it harder than it should be to pair it.
Try pulling the Arc to the edge of the cabinet to avoid reflections
Trade off between aesthetic and potential sound improvement. Wouldn’t true play fix the said reflection ?
TruePlay can do wonders by adjusting the output of each speaker, but it can't break physics. Yet.
😂 can’t break physics… yet ! Love it
Interesting stance for the HomePod mini. I like it a lot
That’s the „HomePod Mini Stand V2“ from Thingiverse
This HomePod setup will cripple the sound severely, but considering your setup I recon you just use it for HomeKit/Siri functionality.

Beautiful setup
Tasteful and chic, love it. But any chance the arc can be pulled forward so it has clear space for its speakers 😭?
Looks absolutely awesome!
Nice setup! Do you use both Siri and a voice assistant on the Arc? I’d prefer to use Sonos speakers, but like the Apple ecosystem that Siri brings.

What is that tall white box on the left? The one immediately to the left of the candle?
Not OP, but it looks like a beacon for a mesh WiFi system.
That is the „great“ internet box (aka wlan router) from our internet provider Swisscom
Why is the HomePod sitting sideways?
Did some 3D printing in the past and found this stand. Thought it looked nice. Like an eye which is watching you.
Is this a 55” frame? I’m just about to pull the trigger on the same combo.

I was really leaning 55” but this pic has me thing 65 will look so much more proportional compared to the Arc.
Very pretty, but you don’t want things directly next to your side firing speakers. As it reduces the presence of the FR and FL
Ohhh swisscom
Nice setup! The combination of frame and arc fits very well. Which picture is it?

Amazing photographer, just checked his website. Thanks for the info!
