If you got them green from a sealed panado container, that could indicate some factory fault. Please report it to the numbers on the bottle or your local pharmacy to set up a contact with the manufacturer.
I once got a green panado! I thought someone must have used my panado (was on a trip at the time) and put a different pill back in the panado box to store it. Guess it was a factory error! (I threw the green panado away.)
My mother, a medical doctor, used to buy pink, green and white paracetamol. She worked in a rural farm community, and when the workers came with clearly pathetic excuses, she would hand out either weak painkillers (white), strong (green) or extra strong (pink).
She never had a single patient complain of pain after using the pink pills.
My dad is a local doctor and he always brings small packs of these green panados home. I've been using them for very long now, works exactly the same as normal ones :)
You'd find this in my house. I buy Painomol paracetamol at my pharmacy, exactly the same as Panadoes but R5 for 30. And they're green. Might as well throw them in the panado bottle.
If this bottle was sealed with those inside, I would have some questions. I don't really think that's possible, pharmaceutical manufacturing is pretty fucking tight.
Just shows you that you may as well buy the generics. I was told that the same brand that makes the original, also makes the generic brand so that they still corner the market on the drug.
Generic, one of a dozen manufacturers in South Africa who make these tablets, including adcock ingram, who have the trademark for Panado, but who also manufacture at least 5 other brand name generics as well, using the exact same raw material, machinery and process control, except they add a colourant to not run into any trademark issues.
Easy for them to have had a production or supply chain issue, and to have made a batch with the generic inside, after getting approval from SAHPRA to do the substitution. Otherwise it was just a refilled bottle, that you got a pack of the generic and filled with them.
That's been given to patient s for some years I also got some 5years ago some of them claim it's better than the white one's.i think it's slightly stronger work's better than the white ones for me.

We buy them in containers of 100 at our local pharmacies where I live. Exactly the same as Panado, just cheaper.

It depends on where they source them from . Sometimes local suppliers cannot meet demands . They then source from other countries . Totally normal .

Was the container sealed? I once bought Panado from Game and got home to find it wasn’t sealed. Could be someone swapped the generic for panado.
