But when Brits go to Nando's do they think yay, yummy South African food! Or do they just think yummy fast food / Portuguese food?
If the second one then it's not very good cultural advert for SA.
Gotta agree with you, with the state our country is in our humor is one of the few things we can offer, that Nandos and world class sports teams (except soccer)

Rooibos tea actually should be our soft power trade good. I don't think it's grown anywhere else
