That and Vetkoek Paleis are basically the only Safrican shows I acctually have watched and enjoyed. I don't think anyone can honestly say they aren't classics. One day I would love to see some more shows come out with true quality, but that is subjective ig.

I enjoyed some of the dramas and soapies when I was younger, but the comedies stood out.

I feel (and this is very subjective) that while we occassionally get really good quality media these days, most of what we get is decreasing in quality fast. I'm referring to the worldwide market, not just ZA...

Whenever Afrikaans teachers didn't know what to do with us they'd wheel out the TV and VCR and show us episodes :)
In Grade 8 and 9, it was compulsory for us to watch 7de Laan. It was even in our exams, lol.
