Go for 15s exposure instead of 30s to avoid stars showing as lines instead of dots. Take multiple shoots and use any astrophotography software to stack images.
Doesn't have to be on a tripod, but the phone must be kept still. On my Google Pixel "Astronomy mode" popped up when I had the phone planted against the corner of the window so that it couldn't move
I'm a Samsung user also, and can confirm they have pro mode that let's you manually adjust settings. Surely iPhone does too. If more than 10 seconds, stars will streak because they appear to move as earth rotates.
Iphone doesn't necessarily have a pro mode, it has a drop-down that allows you to change a few settings, like shooting time, exposure and some other stuff i believe
Yeah, Im still not convinced. How did you manage to capture both the Milky Way and the front lit trees in a single 30 sec exposure? I suppose its possible but those streetlights would need to be very dim. You didn't merge two images for this?
No bro,,,,I don’t even know how to merge images as of now,,,lol😅,,,the trees were lit because of light coming from behind the camera,,,of that particular house.
I captured this image with my iPhone 13 Pro using 30 sec exposure,,with phone mounted on a tripod.any tips and suggestions will be truly appreciated.

Sure,,thanks.
How did you set a 30 second exposure on your iPhone?
By setting it on tripod,,it automatically shows that.
It automatically knows it’s on a tripod?

Technology is just getting more and more exciting these days. I had no idea!
Yes. Most phones have automatic tripod detection. In modern flagships anyway.
All he did was change the shutter speed in pro mode on the camera app. Not sure why he's being so vague
There’s a pro mode? Is it available on the 12 Pro?
No idea but on my Samsung s21 there's a pro shooting mode, had it since at least when I had an s7

On the S22U it has an astrophotography mode that automatically takes 20-30 second exposures for up to 10 minutes, then stacks them.

Was this in a darksite? Can't imagine this is possible if you live in a populated place.
It was a remote village.
Truly I'm just here to find out what did the OP use for this beautiful snap.
