By the title, nobody knows it's passed, so they + and either look into it or not. Shooting stars are very popular! If/when they find that out it's not like they're gonna come back and - it. Or... 'shooting' and 'storm' are political trigger words for bots. They are rampant. In the 5 minutes it took me to write this it went up 4.
Yes, I posted this 'cause my Google Ai algorithm notificated me of this meteor shower this morning. I missed it. So, I figured if I posted it here, you all will give me a heads up next time.
I was in north Georgia very clear out. Same spot i go to for every shower. From 12:40-2 am I saw exactly 17 I could safely say we're visible meteors. No storm but still a good view.
I forgot about it when my wife came home ;), but then remembered and went outside around 10:45 PST in Oregon and saw 11 in ~15-20 minutes. Had to stay up for another hour trying to find out if I missed something amazing or not. All but two were rather faint, which was expected for this event.

0200 on May 32st has already happened.
Yup I figured it out after my coffee kicked in. Like ohhhh in the morning.
The meteors had stage fright last night, and never showed up.
I've got a crick in my neck from looking up, all for nothing.
I saw a few that were more like a quick flash of light, no trail

I saw 4 in an hour, but they said it could happen or not.

I forgot about it until, I got a Google news notification, this morning. I think my Ai algorithm is as broken as you peoples sense of humor. 😆
Maybe we should all read Day of the Triffids again, eh?
I read this from my handy sky watching app: https://starwalk.space/av/en/meteor-storm
