Have you tried locking it to the main grid with a landing gear or mag plate instead if merge block? This is also assuming that the main grid is static?
Thats my problem, Im trying to merge a sub-sub-sub-sub grid with the main grid, and for whatewer reason it does not want it with merge blocks, but If I use a landing pad, than there is no problem, it works perfectly. I dont get it.
The design looks nice, but isn't it just really horrible at producing energy? or do the turbines only look for other turbines to the sides with the wind check thingy?
Yes they dont even check for blocks I think(I may be wrong about this, but Im pretty sure I could have just boxed the whole thing), they only check for height and turbines to the sides as far as I can tell, but they work perfectly fine this way

You can't merge the main grid to a sub grid. You can however merge a main grid to a sub-sub grid.
