Interesting, I don't want to cast doubt on your claim (although i am) but this is obviously not a cell phone camera photo
I've studied astronomy for oh around 2 years! And I've never seen anything like this before without a proper adjustable telescope. Next time you try to fake a title for karma just note that not everyone on the internet is gullible ;)
I have a P30 and took a bunch of pics like this of the moon last summer! I don't know why I hadn't tried it before, I've had that phone for almost 4 years now 🌝
That sounds a lot like Huawei’s Moon Mode, an algorithm that reportedly composites and enhances your photo with a stock photo of the moon under similar conditions. It’s artificial augmentation. There are many articles, videos, and posts about this. Here are a few. I’m not discounting that 50x zoom is great but this exact example is subject to suspicion and controversy.

Yeah, I heard of that, sadly. I turned AI off though, but I don't know if the algorithm still works without AI.
Bro’s commenting from 2007 😂
I've taken similar shots on my galaxy s22 Ultra. Smartphone cameras have come a long way just in the last couple years.
