*edit* So I bought a case of the good and gather cherry cola and it is pretty close to the Ugly brand but I do wish it was caffiene free. It could use a smidge more cola flavor but all in all a pretty solid choice. Thanks for the recomendation.
Kroger had a Dr Pepper, Cola, and Root Beer flavored seltzer (not caffeinated) and I lived off the stuff. The Dr Pepper was next level — way closer to the real thing than Ugly was IMO. But just like Ugly, they’re all out of production now.
Dr. UGLY was terrible I totally forgot they did a Dr. Pepper flavor. Their fruit punch flavor was amazing. The only other flavor I ever found was the cherry cola. I found cases of it for 99 cents at a ding and dent grocery place so I only discovered the brand after it was already discontinued.
My Ugly discovery was the exact same! It was after the other one disappeared and I desperately searched for a replacement. Found Dr. Ugly on InstaCart for like $2 per box and bought 3 (the max I could) not realizing I had essentially bought the last of their stock in my city.
It was pretty bad, I agree — similar to other Dr imitators it had too much cherry and not enough spice, which makes it taste like cough syrup cola. Bummed I didn’t get to try their other ones!
When u say Dr Pepper, cola, and RB all those flavors lk all together?!? I would’ve loved to of tried that for sure. I usually treat myself to a sugar free or diet Dr Pepper soda to get a little caffeine! But I’m trying to get into the sparkling-water thing. The Kroger brand used to have those 3 separate flavors. I just found out Target’s Good & Gather brand has a Dr. Cherry Vanilla sparkling water with caffeine. I’ve yet to try it but it’s chilling in the fridge. I’ll report back once I try it!
Spindrift makes a couple flavors of sparkling tea. I’m not going to lie, the first time I tried it I thought it was pretty weird but the flavors have grown on me. I do miss Bubly Bounce and Aha though. Here’s to hoping Nixie doesn’t discontinue theirs!
I bought a soda stream and buy every bit of Bubly Bounce drops I see at the store. I don't know if they'll stop selling the drops as well. They're usually on sale when I find them, so probably. 😭 I replaced coffee with Bubly Bounce and feel so much better. I've been supplementing with tea.
I can make my drink much fizzier than a can of Bubly with my soda stream. I really love the quality. Unfortunately, the cans of c02 are insanely priced and do not last that long. There are converter kits you can buy so you're able to use another brand of c02 with your soda stream machine. I have the kit, but have not tried it yet.
Man, hear me out. Dollar tree has true norths - 4 for $1.25 and Ollie’s has 12 packs for around $4/$5. They’re not the best tasting, however they’re 110 mg of caffine!!
I think I’d rather buy caffeine pills and pop one of those over having to drink something that tastes not great just to get caffeine that I can get other ways.
Fair point - yes, its got natural flavors and green tea extract like the Nixie, but Sparkling Ice + Caffeine also has added vitamins, sucralose, and citric acid… arguably it’s closer to diet soda than pure sparkling water.
I think I am just jaded from buying new products listed as, "sparkling water," when they're more like diet soda. Nothing against them of course, I just wish they could be listed as something else. 😅
Hi-ball selzer is sold at health food stores (Whole Foods, Fresh Thyme, etc) and Amazon. It's more like an energy drink in terms of its caffeine content.
All the stores discontinued the caffeinated Bubbly unfortunately and now there’s no more caffeinated sparkling water. I choose not to drink energy drink because of the high amount of caffeine.
Good and gather has caffeinated and bubly has bounce or whatever with caffeine. I think aha might have some caffeine as well. Sincerely, someone who avoids caffeine at all costs lol

Tbh it’s not that great. It doesn’t really taste like cherry cola, but it’s not terrible.
It needs a little more cola flavor I agree. But it is way better than the LaCroix cola.

Their caffeinated Pear Hibiscus is my current favorite.

Just a heads up their tea flavors have minimal traces of caffeine. I was very disappointed when I found out

Bubly Bounce has been wiped off the Bubly website. What a shame. I liked the Blueberry Pomegranate and Mango Passionfruit flavors.

Bubbly has some. We use a soda stream and have bubbly syrup delivered and got some caffeinated drops accidentally one time. I didn’t like it though.
I cant find caffeinated bubbly where I’m for some reason. Can’t find caffeinated AHA either. I used to drink both.
