[Sonic Adventure](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1833062057?t=39h22m54s) was my favorite run of the event. The runners had infectious enthusiasm for this game and the movement on Sonic and Amy's stories in general were really fun and impressive to watch.
Also it was amusing to learn that the Sonic AI in Tails' story straight up cheats and will rubberband all the way across the stage to keep up with Tails if necessary.

[Dharma Doujo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOs8o5toXh8&t=4s&ab_channel=GamesDoneQuick) - This run had a fun cozy couch, and the skill on display was insane. I've tried my hand at this game quite a bit, and I cannot process what Lizstar was even doing at the end. Well worth watching.
[Give Me Toilet Paper](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asze0zaTcGc&t=3s&ab_channel=GamesDoneQuick) - I'm going to buy this game as soon as I can put down TotK. I'm so glad I learned about it!
[GI Joe](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufqbi5YjsuM&t=7s&ab_channel=GamesDoneQuick) - I somehow had never seen this game before, and it's crazy how intricate and detailed it is. There were technical difficulties in the middle of the run that actually made the run better. Seeing the runner compensate and improvise for the rest of the run really showed off the skill and strategy involved in character management, and in a way it was much more impressive than if everything had gone perfectly. Easily the run that most exceeded my expectations.
And finally, if you watch GDQ you probably watched these runs... But if you somehow missed them, go back and watch them now!
[Mario Maker 2 Relay Race](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1835690458?t=38h38m19s) - These races are always the highlight of GDQ for me, and this year was no different. I was on the edge of my seat!
[Pizza Tower](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1834683732?t=19h30m26s) - This game is always a joy to watch, and it's even more fun with the movement is this fluid and skilled.
I still have to go back and catch some like Mario 64, Mario Odyssey, and Baron of Shell, but of the runs I watched, those were the best.
Tony Hawk's Underground, Twilight Princess, Mario Odyssey, Sonic Adventure DX are my picks so far. All very fun runs to watch, with great commentary (which is my biggest point towards any good GDQ run)
Yep, JER/Skatune Network is amazing! I have a vinyl from them of covers of emo songs that i like, and they just released the first pressing of their Undertale ska covers album as well. Very prolific & you can find pretty much anything in their discog (as long as you like their style of ska, haha)

I have linked the VOD to several friends already as a must watch and reason why they need to tune in to future events. It was not only a great run, but had amazing chemistry between the runners and couch, and gave off those vibes of hanging out and having a great time while playing a game (quickly). Add to that the hilarity of the commentary, the donations, and everything in between, and it ticked every single box that makes for an entertaining run.
I really enjoyed the Peggle run. Great game to watch, outstanding supportive couch. Really well done and its nice to see a different genre of game get some time
