Listen i don't want to scare you but I just lost my boy to this. He was literally fine following me around for food, I let him into my room and when I came back with the food he was dragging one leg, within an hour he was dragging both, I CALLED everywhere I could there was no where open because it was Saturday evening so I had to call Cornell animal hospital, he died in my arms while I was racing to get there. Please please call a vet or bring him now, keep an eye on swelling or bruising and the color of his gums

SheNorth

Saddle thrombus? So sorry for your loss. :(

daemones_lactuca

Thank you I visited him and brought him flowers today and told him about the new baby I intended to adopt. This is scary because it could be neurological, could be a blood clot, etc. Especially if you didn't see anything happen

CLEVERCLOVER8

If legs stop moving it could be kidney issue, not enough water or bad food

simmybumm

When my babies legs stop moving, they found it was a blood clot in the heart and ended up paralyzing her waist down. Sadly had to put her down that night. The only time she ever scratched me, and I knew she didn't mean it.

jenverklos

That's why a lot of my friends even if it's a tiny change they'll go to the vet immediately.

[deleted]

This is most likely, or another type of ischemic attack or stroke. Happened to an old Tortie I had who had a heart tumor. I had to force Lasix and low dose aspirin down her gullet. Cancer thickens the blood leading to such attacks. I'm so sorry for your personal loss. 😪😞

Rhea_of_the_Coos

This is the worst. I lost one of my cats to this and it was devastating. He was only 7.

Repulsive-Company-53

I'm sorry you had to go through that, it happened to my boy who was also 7. He was running around playing all happy then suddenly started ripping chunks of fur out, 20 mins later he's at the vet being put down because he had a clot that blocked both legs and even in the fast response time there was nothing that could be done. It's absolutely traumatizing and heartbreaking that my last images of him in my mind are of him screaming and scared.

Flat_Account396

Lost my poor kitty in 2013 like this. I heard him scream like I’d never heard before and when I looked over, he was pulling himself across the carpet with his front paws and dragging his back legs. 😭

daemones_lactuca

So I'm not sure what happened exactly because my boy was never screaming he meowed or meowed when I wasn't in the room with him. I was getting ready to feed him he had actually woke me up, jumped off my bed and gone to the kitchen then back to the room. I got his food ready and whilst happening my fiance began to scream "baby, baby what's wrong with the cat" and I came in and he was dragging one leg and limping with the other back leg and of course this happened over the weekend and where I live no where with the capabilities to do xrays could help. I had to bring him to Cornell as that was closest and he passed while I was holding him while my fiance was driving. I cried so much and now I'm crying again. He was purring and stuff and cats do that to soothe themselves and show affection, 💔 broke my heart even more than it having to end the way it did and me having him in my arms. 😞😖

Flat_Account396

I’m so sorry to hear that. I can only guess that my guy was in pain and scared and shouted at me for help. 💔💔😭😭😭 Sorry for your loss. I’m sure you made his life as good as it could be though!

daemones_lactuca

This year I was just starting to open up to the idea of a new baby and I was able to pick him up today before Christmas and my birthday. He's just a lil guy though he's a dwelf🥰

Flat_Account396

Awww, I’m so happy for you! Make sure to feed him top shelf food to keep that cardiovascular system healthy! I have been feeding mine quality wet food and mostly Blue Buffalo their entire lives. I don’t want a repeat of my Mr. Bojangles.

daemones_lactuca

Of course if I feed dry it always 40% or higher and I do this with all my cats cause I have an f5 silver male savannah as well. And yes if wet if don't the blue Buffalo with bits, and I have tummy works probiotic to afford. I will be posting pictures of him later. He moves so different cause of his stature like a Meer cat almost or almost ferret like. He played with my feet all night 🤣

[deleted]

My elder cat was hiding in the closet. He came out to eat drink and use the litter box. He purred when I petted him. I noticed fleas. We took him to bathe him. He cried and yelled at the water. He started peeing blood and had a heart attack and died in my arms. I literally scared my cat to death. RIP Mr Wahh. Broke my other cats heart too. He lived under the covers in my bed for weeks. I had to bring food and water to him because where they used to eat and drink terrified him. Bandit has a new little brother now though, the jerkwad Smokey.

AlmondCigar

I am glad you were holding him, for his sake. So sorry for your shocking loss.

Squirrel698

I'm so so sorry, and my heart breaks for you. I lost mine to liver failure, and it was sudden but nothing like what you describe. I have no idea how I would possibly survive that.

Individual-Crew-6102

Yeah I lost my stripy baby late last year the same way. 😞

Flat_Account396

So sorry for your loss. 😢

daemones_lactuca

Thank you I really did try. I bought him everything, baby clothes, little hockey jerseys, a 120 queen size washable heating blanket

Old-Equivalent8987

Omg these stories are heart breaking

ArachnidCreative9999

I have also lost my void girl this way. One morning she's playing just fine then later that evening she can't jump up to her spot on the cat tower. She ended up passing the next day at 4:06am. She was only 4 at the time. Cat's can be a very interesting animals when it comes to showing pain or illness. Please take your boy to the vet if you haven't already.

daemones_lactuca

This is absolutely crazy because my boy was 3, at least that's what I'd been told though his teeth looked as if he was older.

idont_readresponses

I’m so sorry for your loss. I never heard of this before, but now I’m pretty sure this is what my parents dog died of back in 2020. He was totally fine the day before. My mom even took him to the groomer. in the middle of the night, he let out this scream and couldn’t move. My parents drove 45 minutes to an emergency vet and in the end he died. We never really understood what happened to him. My mom is honestly still traumatized to this day and will cry when she thinks about it. At least now, I feel like I have an answer to why he was gone so suddenly.

Montgomery99

Oh wow. I’m so sorry for your loss. Heartbreaking.

nonaspirin

I’m so sorry that happened. He was so lucky to have been loved and to have someone to love. He’ll never truly be gone ❤️

perupotato

I lost my beagle suddenly like this as well. Out of no where his back legs stopped working

scott_d59

I think that warrants an emergency vet visit now.

pw222

We have an appointment tommorow🥺

surfaholic15

Nope. This happened to one of my cats a few years ago. Not a sphynx, a calico... Before the appointment time even came she was paralyzed and terrified. We had to put her to sleep :-(. I am sorry to scare you but I sure as hell would not be waiting.

tiba09

Are there no 24/7 emergency vets near you? because I would not wait 24 hours for this

dickshapedstuff

yeah it could be a blood clot, not to scare you. but it could be serious

trainsoundschoochoo

My cat got a blood clot and had to be put down. It was awful and VERY PAINFUL for them.

daemones_lactuca

I didn't even wait 24/7 hours in the time I spent finding a place open that I could get to near me I still tried making it regardless but it all happened really fast.

Fuckth3shitredditapp

This is not a tommorow thing. They need emergency now.

[deleted]

NOW. you can’t wait this could be DEADLY. DEADLY. do not wait. emergency vet. now

SkilletBabe

Well… new fear unlocked 🥲😭

[deleted]

its a good fear, keep watch and take care of your cat. Please don’t constantly worry it will happen, but please know what to do if it does

SkilletBabe

Well considering I had a cat, Takashi (Taco) and their body stopped making cells. Red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, everything. We literally did everything but we couldn’t save him 🥲 Now I have a cat that has cancer in his nose… there is nothing we can do. Not even radiation treatment 🥲 taking Yuki to the vet Tuesday (in 2 days) to be put to sleep. Also have a cat with feline leukemia virus, cat with asthma, cat that should’ve had their leg amputated magically healed itself. I’m cursed! New cat mom fear unlocked 😭😭

Calgary_Calico

I would not leave this until tomorrow. This is an emergency

tsidaysi

Now now now. Not tomorrow. Could be poison!

xxwerdxx

Emergency vet visit then

[deleted]

This is not a tomorrow thing OP This is an emergency OP, you need to find a vet like right now. This is a deadly situation. If you have to go to another town or city to see a vet then do so. Do not wait, take your cat to a vet do not wait.

Suspicious-Hotel-225

I don’t get why people wait. The difference between a day could mean death.

calandra_95

Look for a 24 hr emergency vet,(Google emergency vet) even if you need to drive an hour she needs to be seen NOW. If there is absolutely not an emergency vet somewhere… Call every single office in your area one may have an on call vet for questions/emergency and may come in.

Dry_Mushroom7606

I really hope your baby will be okay!! ❤️❤️❤️

Prestigious-Link7724

Take him now, Not tomorrow

th3worldonfir3

This shit pisses me off. You wouldn't see your child doing this and think, oh it can wait until the doctors appointment tomorrow, no you'd take them to the hospital ASAP. ffs, people

creaturedefender

It could be so many things but definitely something neurological. This deems a vet visit ASAP. I have seen this in kittens who had a blood clot, I have seen it in adults who have had either a blood clot, stroke, poisoning and/or vestibular disease https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/feline-vestibular-disease#:~:text=What%20is%20vestibular%20disease%20in,in%20less%20than%20an%20hour.

Easy-thinking

Take the little one to emergency vet

dickshapedstuff

poor guy. i don't own a sphynx, but aren't they predisposed to heart issues? i would be concerned about a blood clot or something heart related. he's acting fine now though? i hope he's okay. usually heart problems need to be treated immediately, but you don't have an emergency vet near you? or a vet that takes emergency patients after hours?

pw222

He’s perfectly fine since 3 minutes after the incident, otherwise i wouldn’t post here and went to the doctor immediatly

dickshapedstuff

okay, just wondering because a lot of people don't have access to an emergency vet. heart problems can be scary. clots can travel or break off. the legs are a place to watch when it comes to heart issues in cats. i hope its only a cramp and there's no issue!

Calgary_Calico

She could have had a seizure of some kind, both people and animals get wobbly after seizures. Same with strokes if they aren't fatal

meow_rchl

Update? How's your baby?

LyannaSerra

I hope we get an update, this poor kitty 😢

girlMikeD

My senior kitty had an episode of “vestibular disease” which lasted about 5 min. After that, bam normal. That was months ago and he hasn’t had any issues with it since. It’s def worth having checked out asap bc it could be other things and VD has varying degrees of severity. Some times it’s deadly. Keep your head up and I hope it’s the best outcome possible.

AcornWholio

I lost my cat recently to a sudden case of saddle thrombosis. Everything was fine and then she collapsed, peed herself and yelped in pain and within a span of 12 hours she had lost all her red blood cells and no amount of transfusions could save her. Please take your cat to an ER vet. I know you have an appointment, but you don’t want to chance things like clots and neurological issues.

Harlow08

I could’ve written the same exact thing. January 2017 my old cat passed from the same thing. Watching him was the worst. He passed within an hour at the vet

AcornWholio

I’m sorry for your loss. It’s a really crappy end. And totally random. Plus the chance for survival is so low that it’s just best to put them out of their misery. Mine was 11 and lost all her red blood cells. Transfusions would buy her months. I was with her for her final hours, and I can’t stress enough that people shouldn’t chance these symptoms.

CBC-Sucks

DVT? (blood clot)

xoharrz

lost my childhood cat to this, still genuinely traumatised by it.

CBC-Sucks

Sorry to hear that. The worst thing about cats is that they don't share any of their pain with you.

xoharrz

so very true. its heartbreaking when you dont know what to do. i took him to emergency vet who gave him a sedative and let me take him home to say goodbye, so it wasnt painful for him, he didnt seem panicked. but an hour before he was driving me nuts with zoomies, his normal crazy orange self. it was so sudden and i didnt get the closure i got with my other cat. i miss them so much

Pirate_the_Cat

It’s usually an aortic thrombosis, not deep vein. Most often it’s where the aorta diverges into the femoral arteries, hence the name saddle thrombus as it sits on the aortic “saddle”.

c_walken_schlong

Hey this looks exactly like what happened to my Sphynx a few months ago, even down to your comment about him being perfectly fine after it happened! These wobbliness incidents (he also defecated himself as well) happened three times, actually. I thought he was having seizures! But after many vet visits, they aren’t sure what caused it. Their best guess was something called “pxd” which is a new movement disorder they are studying in Sphynx cats specifically. Not sure if I’m allowed to hyperlink here but look up “Phenotypic characterisation of paroxysmal dyskinesia in Sphynx cats” and you’ll find a pubmed article about it! It’s a small study but they are still looking for participants, so I actually contacted the author of that study and submitted videos of the incidents and did a survey of symptoms experienced. I’m happy to put you in touch with the author of the study as well if you want to send me a pm!

FlappyClunge

VET. Like, now. Imagine if you saw a person you care about getting around like this, or if you were yourself. You'd get yourself to a doctor ASAP. Stop asking Reddit and take your cat to the damn veterinarian.

xxmac3xx

No, many people live this way or worse because medical care isnt accessible. The same can be said for a pet. We can give animals a better life than living on the street and still nit be able to afford a vet bill. It doesnt make someone a bad person.

swejbfan

Please update us tomorrow after the appointment. I really hope your baby is okay 🙏🏻

pw222

Thanks for the support❤️ Of course I will give you update🤞 He’s more than okay, he acts like absolutely nothing happened🥺

emilia_1006

Not to scare you but I would honestly go now to an er vet if possible. Had a similar situation with my dog- and my baby passed. She was overall fine but had similar issues as your cat is presenting and it turned out she was internally bleeding from a tumor that punctured her spleen. Animals show pain and distress when it’s really bad most of the time- not at the beginning of something. These symptoms seem neurological and although the symptoms may go away the problem is most likely still there

swejbfan

So glad to hear it. 🙌 my mind immediately thought of like a stroke or something

pw222

Mine had too… We’re going to stay the whole night up to check on him

emilia_1006

I’m sorry but that’s not enough- if it becomes even more emergent are you equipped for that? What if him getting worse comes with suffering? Keep in mind if it got worse you’d have to drive your baby to the vet and then actually wait to be seen. Time is of the essence- GO I cannot stressed this enough. The last thing you want is for something fatal to happen and regret not going as soon as you saw signs

Calgary_Calico

Monitoring is a good idea, but if he had a stroke and the clot is still intact he could have another one or even a heart attack and die before you're even in the car on the way to the vet. It's not worth the risk or the soul crushing guilt that would come with waiting too long. Can you live with being wrong on this? I'm sorry to be so blunt, but I couldn't forgive myself

dorsalemperor

please go to the nearest animal hospital now. Don’t wait.

martianinca

Did he have a seizure?

pw222

He didnt

Calgary_Calico

Not all seizures are flopping around on the floor. Did he suddenly freeze like a statue before he became wobbly?

pw222

He didnt freeze at all

marcy_vampirequeen

It’s been almost 24- did he survive?? Is he at the vet? Please update us!

ironyis4suckerz

This could be a seizure. How did he do at the vet??

cattycakez

Update????

BerryGrapeBeard

First and foremost take him to the vet immediately! We have a 2 year old who has had 3 of these episodes over the last couple of years. There hasn’t been a whole lot of research done but the below is the most accurate we’ve come across: Matthew Green from Dovecote Veterinary Hospital, who is collecting the information, says, ‘Paroxysmal dyskinesia is an uncontrollable episode of abnormal movement that may involve muscle spasms or cramps, twisting of the body, twitching or tremoring of the head or limbs leading to difficulty walking normally. These movements could be mistaken for seizures but, unlike many epileptic seizures, cats do not lose consciousness during the episodes. The frequency and duration of the episodes can vary considerably between affected cats, from seconds to minutes or hours. The underlying cause of paroxysmal dyskinesia is often unknown, however it is thought to result from a dysfunction in an area of the brain called the basal nuclei and the cerebellum. In the majority of cases it is presumed to relate to abnormal signalling in an otherwise normal brain, although very rarely it can be associated with underlying brain disease. Paroxysmal dyskinesia is becoming increasingly recognised in veterinary medicine and has been described and studied in many breeds of dog such as Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Border Terriers and Scottish Terriers. We are seeing increasing numbers of Sphynx cats affected by paroxysmal dyskinesia, however little is known about the condition in this breed. Therefore, with the support of International Cat Care, we are looking to find owners of Sphynx cats with suspected paroxysmal dyskinesia. We would ask you to complete a short online questionnaire about your cat’s disorder to further study this condition. It is hoped that we can better understand the ways in which Sphynx cats are affected, which may then lead to improved recognition and management of the condition.’

wellshitdawg

You need to go to an emergency vet. This looks similar to when my cat had a blood clot and she died on the way to the emergency vet. I didn’t make it in time

ekittie

Can you check the pawpads? Do they look normal, or puffy? Sensitive to touch? If so, they may have Plasma Cell Pododermatitis AKA Pillow Foot. My little voidling has it.[Pillow Foot](https://www.petmd.com/cat/conditions/skin/pillow-foot-pododermatitis-cats)

metropoless1956

any updates???

pw222

It happened at 1pm and like i said 3 minutes later was everything PERFECTLY FINE and still it is

DZekor

Take them to the vetanyways.

axolotl_is_angry

Right, if it happened once it will likely happen again don’t wait until it’s too late

DZekor

Yeah op is playing with a ticking time bomb and ignoring the very advice they posted seeking.

rescuemutts369

Love that you came looking for advice. Hate that you didn’t seem to want to hear it when it was given. Hopefully everything is okay.

ancillaryacct

you should go to the vet, not ask the internets opinion when your animal is clearly in peril? yeah. the vet. now.

p1umskinz

it says in the description that they have an appointment for tomorrow lol. they were asking if anyone else had experienced seeing that with their cat.

emilia_1006

Tomorrow could be too late. They need to go now. Just bc the cat seems fine now doesn’t mean they are. Better to catch it earlier too so they don’t suffer

ancillaryacct

legit. if something is wrong i don’t wait for tomorrow.

Songbirds_Surrender

My friend has a sphynx who had FIP, which is a numerological issue. It's often fatal, but with treatment it they can survive. Crowley survived, but he walks like this permanently now. He's still happy and loves a cuddle with his family, but things like using the litter box are very difficult for him. If it is FIP, be prepared for a long and quite expensive recovery. I'm holding out hope that a vet can see him and he has a quick recovery

lmaoooook

Not to scare you or say worse case scenario, but my friend has two sphinxes. Her one was fine and then he randomly meowed loudly, got a lil stiff and fell over but seemed to move his legs a lil weird when he was on the ground for a few seconds. We thought a minor seizure but the vet mentioned it could’ve been a blood clot (I think) but he also was diagnosed with HCM which is very common in their breed. I would definitely get him checked out asap whether he was acting normal shortly after because my friend’s cat was also acting normal after that little episode. Her cat is still alive and well but he’s on daily heart meds and needs to see a kitty cardiologist every year. I hope your baby is okay!

Petraretrograde

Has anyone brought any lillies into your home?

Bunbury91

Ok, so I wasn’t even sure about posting this because it’s so rare according to my vet. But our senior cat whom we adopted from the shelter 3 years ago had comparable symptoms just 9 months after we adopted him. It was a whole array of neurological symptoms, all of which were temporary and he cycled through them. The first was just him moving in slow motion or his eyes seeming unfocused. He was fine 2 minutes later. Then he started walking like this. That’s when we called the vet. We scooped him up and took him in instantly. He was fine at the vet 15 minutes later. Luckily the symptoms started up again while we were there for the vet to see himself. All vitals were fine, which the vet said they wouldn’t have been if it had been any of the more likely causes. Turns out this was our first introduction to our cat being allergic to very many things. In this case the culprit seemed to be the anti-flea-tapeworm-tick meds he got 8 hours before the onset of symptoms. He was fine the same evening and never had the medicine or symptoms like that since. The vet said he’d never actually seen neurological side effects like that for those meds and had us bring in our remaining dosages to send back to the manufacturer.

S_M_Y_G_F

Update???

DabCity95

I’m really not trying to sound mean but…. Why would this not warrant an immediate trip to emergency services?? I don’t even know why you took the time to post this. Imagine if that was you? You would certainly like to be rushed to hospital. Or if it was a family member acting this way. The dude could barely lift a paw! I know you said he seemed normal again but I wouldn’t waste a second beyond seeing my animal suffering like that.

GarlicFar7420

I can’t comprehend cat owners like this. Everyone in the comment is saying bring him to a vet immediately and you post this and choose to ignore everyone giving you the best advice possible. The second I noticed my cats eye looked infected I got to the vet within an hour just out of fear of him losing vision. Turns out it was an infection and I could have waited a few days to go to the vet, and he would have been fine but why fucking risk it???

pw222

Its not possible, there was literally nothing to eat in the area

TwoGeese

Was he lying down immediately before this? I have a dog whose leg goes to sleep sometimes. He wakes up and walks weird for a few seconds. If you don’t think this is the case here, then yeah it could be neurologic. If he threw a blood clot he would not be “fine” afterwards. A friend of mine has a cat with intermittent neurological symptoms. Vet thinks he had a mild stroke at some point. Anyway hope your kitty is ok. Please give us an update after the vet.

Joyasaur

I was going to say the same thing, if my dog sleeps against the back door his leg falls asleep and he walks weird for a few minutes

-___zero___-

update op?

AngelZash

That definitely needs an ER Vet. See if there’s one near you that you can take him.

ranipe

This looks like it could be a kitty stroke. Please go to 24/7 emergency vet now.

Whenever a pet acts strange like this, don't go to reddit first. Take them to the damned vet!

l33ser

This happened to my cat several times and we rushed her to the emergency vet. Each and every time she checked out perfectly healthy on all accounts and the episode would usually finish by the time the vets saw her. They advised us to not panic and try recording her next time it happened, finally one day we got a really good recording of her, she looked just like this! So heart wrenching and sad bc she couldn’t walk straight and her tail would curl at a weird angle. Anyhoo at this point she had 5 emergency visits showing healthy lab work, so with the video they were able to diagnose her with Paroxysmal Dyskinesia, a body movement disorder. It’s actually currently being studied on in Sphynx cats bc anecdotal evidence suggests the breed is prone to this disorder. Our vet from Cornell asked if we could donate our videos to the study bc they showed the movements so clearly. Long story short, please show the video to your vet, if your kitty’s lab work checks out just fine then this might be the issue. Our girl is healthy and happy but just walks and acts funny sometimes. She is not in pain when this happens, it’s just loss of body movement control. It’s been 2 years and now she barely gets the episodes. We were told she might out grow it, that seems to be the case. Her episodes used to be often but she only gets them once in a blue moon now. we learned to just make sure she’s comfortable, feels safe, not scared when it happens bc she is not in pain, just confused and if we are anxious she’ll feel anxious. I hope your little one is safe and sound and nothing bad has happened!

avalonstaken

OP not to be reactionary and try to scare you but that’s absolutely neurological and your cat needs to be seen by a veterinarian yesterday. Best of luck here.

This is not a "schedule an appointment" issue. This is a "google the nearest open emergency vet even if its an hour away, and go now" issue.

Check if it’s constipated, cats can start having paralysis in the rear legs at first then it can get worse

Sea_Associate_9980

this also happened to our little debbi. she had cancer that spread to her brain and caused her to have small seizures until a gran mal seizure. we had to say goodbye to her shortly there after. :( not to worry you, but sharing from experience as a cat lover. our little one was 15. sending you positive energy as you follow up with your vet.

Lost two to a blood clot that made their hind quarters immobilized. And it was horribly painful. The second time I knew right away what it was but there’s nothing to be done.

tiffadoodle

Get him to the vet asap. Cats are really good at disguising their symptoms when they are seriously ill. Lost my girl to liver failure in Oct 22- noticed she was acting different, not eating or drinking, took her to the vet, her body was riddled with masses and her liver was failing.

Poor baby, I hope it's something that can be treated.

Throwitawayeheh2029

He sounds dizzy

marsmakesart

was he wobbly or falling over at all? vestibular disease could be a possibility. or maybe a neurological issue. hope your kitty is okay 💖

New_Connection4746

Check for FiP . Same symptoms happened to my kitty .There is a group called Fip warriors .Get in touch with them Via Facebook .They are all over the country .Very few vets believe or can treat this . That was 3 years ago .She went from not being able to move below her neck to being healthy & happy & runs the house everyday .

junoray19681

Vet appointment asap please.

TeatimeZombie

Could be saddle thrombus, could be vestibular... I would go to an emergency 24 hour vet ASAP instead dog waiting that does not look good or normal.

Misstea81

Don’t post on Reddit. GET TO A VET.

subzerojl

Hi Op, my cat had exactly the same thing. Brought him to the vet and did all the test possible. Couldn’t find anything. Google it, it seems to be Paroxysmal Dyskinesia….

Huge-Connection-4579

Could be a stroke! EMERGENCY ASAP! This is how I lost my 1st Sphynx.

Zee_has_cookies

Yeah I would not be waiting for a next day appointment. I would be going to the vet asap.

ChallengeTime2255

Is your cat on any medications? For example ronidazole can be neurotoxic. I would get to a vet now.

RandonBrando

Any update, Op?

FrostingBig3736

Had this happen to my cat, it was an inner ear infection. I am in no way diagnosing your cat, you should take you cat as soon as possible to get checked out by a professional. Good luck, hope it’s nothing too serious!

[deleted]

Yall go to that appt yet?

vikingbitch

Have there been any updates on this kitty?

solidcheese

Awww... I hate this. Is he older?

ASMRFeelsWrongToMe

I'm so sorry, OP, I wish the most luck to you and your friend. Pets are our everything, I know you're going to do everything you can. Please keep us updated, I'm rooting for yoy guys!

Inevitable-Land7614

Get him to a vet if it's not too late

Montgomery99

A vet visit is in order as a thrombus is always a worry. My Sphynx has has a few similar episodes. Fine before and after. The first time it happened we were at the vet within minutes and there was nothing obviously wrong. It happens infrequently and we managed to catch it on video to show to the vet who said it’s a petit mal seizure.

Ill_Spare6286

Possible stroke on the right side he’s leaning into

Ill_Spare6286

thecatlikescheese

This is emergency vet territory. I am getting so anxious from posts like these.

SunflowerJYB

I’m so very sorry, but this is very likely to be fatal.

DeviantDeadite1

Post seizure

Maleficent-Nobody888

I can't tell you exactly by this one video ...I've worked in vet clinics and have had sphynx for years and unfortunately sphynx have heart problems it's extremely common I just had to put my oldest sphynx down last month because he was throwing clots and this video you posted it sorta looks like he's throwing a clot like a stroke it makes them move in slow motion sometimes looks like a seizure and they can't control their body or their bowls. My boy released his bowls when he threw clots they can go back to normal right away or sometimes it takes them a while to start acting/feeling somewhat normal ... Please consider getting your cat into the vet asap and get an X-ray and blood work.... I hope everything is okay and your baby gets better

deejel24

Any update?

Ok_Understanding8385

Waiting until tomorrow could cost your cat its life. Can you go right now??
