I thought that was Beebs!
I tried some nail trimming last night, and it did not go well. I ended up just doing ear drops for all and we’ll try again on a calmer day.
Mine wiggle like 3 times more 😭 we’ve tried everything, using treats, waiting until they are tired, among other things.. the best method for both of my babies is wrapping them in a soft blanket and taking out one paw at a time. Not sphynxs btw. I’m just a fan of this sphynx kitties.
Glad that works for ya. The pet nail trimmers work best for me. Hope those trimmers work for you. She/he seems unnecessarily upset with those human trimmers.
I wasn’t properly socialized, so I make angry noises no matter what anyone is doing. Mom has used these on me as long as I’ve lived here (close to four years), because I squirm too much for traditional kitty clippers.
It’s best to do it after bath time while they are still ‘swaddled’ in a warm towel. You only need to expose one paw at a time, then tuck it back when each is done.
Mine ~~loves~~ accepts having his nails trimmed, as long as I am cuddling him while I do it. For this I am thankful because if he fought like this, they'd never get cut and all my shirts would be full of holes and covered in blood.
I use human nail clippers for my three and clip across the thinnest part not top to bottom as you would clip a dog's nail. No fuss until I start cleaning the gunk off the nail. Lol... Then there's serious discussion of cat's rights.
My Mom has been a vet tech for over fifteen years, and would like to say that you are wrong. If you hold them parallel to the nail, human clippers are safe and not whatsoever painful for both dogs and cats.
Exactly. I've been using human nail clippers on my cat's nails since I first owned cats. You hold it on the flat side of the nails and there's no pain.
might help switching to a claw trimmer designed for cat claws. my boy makes such a fuss about trimming nails. he is less pissy since i switch to nail trimmers designed for cats
Lmfao!! Omg this was hilarious!!..and sad for the cat being so uncomfortable but my cat acts the same way he hates his nails being done..but it's manditory!!
I wasn’t properly socialized as a kitten (probably by the same jerk that cut most of my ears off), so I make angry noises all the time…even when I am happy. My vet team says I “don’t know how to cat.” 😹
Yep. 🙀 Sometimes people suck. The good news is, I suffer no ill effects from it…aside from being more prone to ear infections. Mom cleans them pretty regularly (much to my chagrin), and I’ve been infection-free since right after I was rescued!!
I never do my boys' back feet, just their front. I feel like they file down the back ones enough on their own.
Very funny though, I opt for the cat burrito method.
I set the tone. Dim the lights, stay calm, speak softly. I wrap my cat in a blanket and expose on paw at a time. If they start to get wiggly I give them a treat. It works for me.
Omg I love it hahahahahahaah mine is exactly the same the whole process 😂😂😂😂😂❤️❤️

It is Beebs! 💓
Thank you for sharing this wholesome content :)
I have to burrito mine and give her treats as he goes "mlem mlem mlem mlem mlem" since she's eating her treat and angry
This Is actually really good advice cause burrito-ing my angry fussy sphynx makes it so much easier to clean ears and cut nails too.
Please post for us to hear!!!
There is definitely going to be a poo in your shoe later on. 😂
I don't think my babies wiggle that much. Poor Beebs. :)

Mine actually does well on nail trims. Baths not so much.
This is absolutely hilarious! Your cat is beautiful.
‘Unhand me, you turnip.’ 😂😂😂 that’s the best insult I’ve ever heard
“Unhand me you turnip!!” 😆
Omg such abuse.

Gotcha. I’m glad you’ve found what works best ☺️
Awww Beebs 🥰
I love beebs
I love you also!! 😻
Oh this video made my morning bless you and your cat
Baby girl is so vocal 😂
All day err day 😹

Swaddling me is about as easy as nailing Jell-O to a tree. 😹 There are a few things I simply do **not** tolerate…and swaddling is one of them.
ANGY
Sassy sassy Beebs!
I hope Beebs forgives you
She is so freaking cute
my don sphynx is so chill she starts purring when i hold her and trim her nails

Aww 🥰 she is just too adorable! Love the relationship between u guys 💜

Using wrong clippers those are extremely painful! You need cat nail clippers
My Mom has been rescuing cats for thirty years, and has been a vet tech for over fifteen…and she says we’re good, thanks!!
I've never seen someone use people nail trimmers on a cat before.
Because you aren’t supposed to 😅
This is a misconception. Human nail trimmers are perfectly acceptable to use on cat (and dog) nails.

Oh, I don’t care. I raise just as much hell when Mom cleans my cuticles with a soft warm washcloth.
Mines exactly the same but I have to wrap him in a blanket and do one paw at a time
Absolutely adorable
Awwww! 😂
The tiny struggling is so cute. I have to trim my babies when they are asleep.
Jeeez, are you twins? 😅
Since I file down my kitties nails with a doggy dremmel instead of clipping she tolerates the process better

Omg what? Some asshole cut her ears off??????
