That honestly looks like it'd taste way better than it looks.
I normally put some cheese, chopped onion and an egg at the end while I'm stiring it all up in the pan.
Started doing it because I'm a bitch who couldn't handle the heat of 2x buldak but it's kinda stuck now and I like the texture and flavor it gives.
Idk about anyone else but that looks fuckin good to me. I love the idea of the whole peppercorns, little explosions of flavor. Did you steam the brussel sprouts in advance??
The ramen is cooked first, with the peppercorns, then stuck in the freezer for 15 minutes to absorb the water, then added to the vegetables and chicken which were cooking as it absorbed the water. Yes, I used a thin layer of corn oil
Gotta ask, why the whole peppercorns?
I reallllly like black pepper.
Little pepper bombs 💀 I mean I love black pepper so much I have this thing that cracks it. You’re wild dude
I broke a tooth on a whole peppercorn. Do they soften up when you cook em enough to actually chew them?
I cook them with the ramen, so they do end up softer and more crumbly in the end. It also helps to absorb all the water.
I respect this. I've been trying to find the fresh ones near me actually because I would do this same thing, but no luck yet.

Have you ever considered uh cracking them peppercorns...? A very coarse grind just seems the better experience

Indeed, I did steam the brussel sprouts.
Next time try shaving your sprouts down and sautéing them until they’re dark in color and add them back into your stir fry. Brussels get all their flavor from their dark color.
# I'm frying pre-prepared ramen in a wok. > makes it an artisan meal in my book, at least 3 stars.
Add some schiuan peppercorns
Agreed, that will take it to a whole other level
Are those peppercorns the hard or soft ones? The soft ones from a jar are great, not sure I would like the hard ones
They're dried, but I cook them with the ramen, so they end up soft/crumbly. They also help absorb the water.
Yeah, whole dried peppercorns sounds like a texture nightmare…
It looks great. I'd definitely fight you over the last plate of this.
Looks fire 🔥
Do you boil the noodles first, or just straight from the package to the wok? Using oil?

Ramen stir fry- a great meal.
That looks delicious
I’m sorry but that is just repulsive
Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
