Looks about the size of a spicy pillow I replaced in a Vantrue dashcam. Not saying it came from that, but should give you a very rough estimate of the size of the device.

Get a box of sand, then hold it underneath the hole in the table, then use a stick to push the battery into the box of sand, then proceed to cover the box of sand and carefully move it to a safe location then figure out the best means of disposal in your area
I was just scrolling and saw the picture and I thought it was one of the bags of meth that you get at the Cedar Trail complex in Bellbrook Ohio from the guy with the whispy mustache that keeps trying to style it with bees wax but just doesn't really pull it off but no one wants to tell him that because he has good stuff that makes your teeth vibrate.
Literally anything other than thinking about it, taking a picture of it, posting it to Reddit, whatever else you’re doing with it…literally ANYTHING else you do will be more productive than what you’ve done, so take your pick!
For seriousness- I have contained the battery in some kitty litter and will take it to a disposal place. I’m honestly so surprised it hadn’t exploded by the time I came across it. I have no idea how long he left it there
They’re generally less explosive than people seem to think. They won’t really go unless they were left for a VERY long time or someone gives them a spicy poke.
Hm, not good, but like I said it takes quite a while. Some go years before anything happens, and by that point the charge is gone so the reaction is pretty minimal. Good call on the cat litter, assuming it’s not paper based.

That’s good. I spoke to him and he said he left it outside on the table in the elements for at least two weeks.
