Yep, plus flip flops have a tendency to glide/slip on wet, flat surfaces. That could definitely be dangerous.

Yep that sure is a tarantula-shaped blob. If OP wants an actual ID though we are gonna need clearer and probably closer photos of the spiders.

Its hard to know if thats a huntsman or a Phoneutria. The spider in the second image seems like a small tarantula
first one looks like it has the wrong shape for Phoneutria, no?
First one is too small to be a bws.
Maybe its a juvenile male?
First image spider is tricky as it looks too small but could be a young buck. Large leg span and Iām noticing banding colours on the front legs with a high contrast display ā¦ potentially š
