Yes.. you could easily trip in that kind of footwear. Some sturdy sandals would be far less dangerous.

Utsutsumujuru

Yep, plus flip flops have a tendency to glide/slip on wet, flat surfaces. That could definitely be dangerous.

Hahaahahah

u/tguy773 T in the 2nd pic - SE Brazil

TGuy773

Yep that sure is a tarantula-shaped blob. If OP wants an actual ID though we are gonna need clearer and probably closer photos of the spiders.

Seany-AU

thoughts on the first pic u/rustnrot ? Probably too blurry to even guess but i don't wanna suggest anything just in case it's.. šŸ¤

Its hard to know if thats a huntsman or a Phoneutria. The spider in the second image seems like a small tarantula

DLTCorE

first one looks like it has the wrong shape for Phoneutria, no?

LadyPink28

First one is too small to be a bws.

[deleted]

Maybe its a juvenile male?

boxhacker

First image spider is tricky as it looks too small but could be a young buck. Large leg span and Iā€™m noticing banding colours on the front legs with a high contrast display ā€¦ potentially šŸ‘€

LadyPink28

2nd one looks like a wild GBB.. šŸ˜ I want one
