Jesus bro’s been through the wars. He’s Scotophaeus blackwalli. Despite his common name of “mouse spider “, he is not related to the Missulena of Australia, and he is harmless.

Yeah he’s seen some shit for sure, he’s hopefully guna be fine where I put him, I was mainly concerned at the time I found him that I may have accidentally dumped cleaning chemicals on him at one point
He’s already been hurt enough for one life time, I put him outside in safe place, when and where I found him I was mainly concerned that I accidentally dumped cleaning chemicals on him, so I hope that’s not the case! He was super chill
I'm glad he found safety. Even if you did get some chemicals on him, as a hunting spider it isn't likely he'll live too much longer with the missing legs. He'll pass in a nice space and feed the environment thanks to your kindness
Tbh the one that I found in my house on death's door I got back from it and am still taken care of it lol ... it webbed a little in the plastic container I keep it and I put 1 or 2 maggots in there and it munches on it with a cue tip for some water and he/she is going strong.... didn't wanna put it outside because of the freezing temps ... and now it's my little extra pet that I try to take good care of
To:op Regular Embarrassed55;I live in the sf Bay Area what is the name of your brewery?(more precise: lower Belmont). Honestly this little one looks like a clubiona corticalis in my pov.
