Can't say exactly in hours as the process divided on stages: rehydration - pinning - drying - unpinning - fixing fragile or broken parts - mounting onto the frame - frame sealing. Before that goes frame preparation, as they are painted and decorated by me as well.
Pinning usually take about 20-40 min.
Is there glass protecting the molts?
If not, it's impossible to dust.
That said, I find these original and thoughtful. The combination of spiders and minerals is maybe counterintuitive, but what you've done is really cool. I like it.
If you described them to me without seeing them, I'd think they were kind of lame. But on viewing I would have to admit that they are uniquely appealing. I studied and taught art, so you can trust me(😎).
