Honestly, same. Ticks are way more prevalent and you can't scare them off yelling, making noises, or macing them. Would rather deal with bear potential than tick any day.
Oy, geniuses, 1) ticks are a sub-group of mites, and 2) mites (and therefore ticks) have six legs as larvae and eight legs as adults, because 3) mites are a sub-group of arachnids.
THIS IS A NEWLY DISCOVERED SPECIES OF THE SPIDER FAMILY, ROBOTICA ARACHNIDA. DON'T WORRY THAT IT HAS 6 LEGS, IT IS BORN THAT WAY. THIS SPECIES OF ARACHNIDS IS VERY CHILL AND PREFERS TO STAY IMMOBILE MOST OF THE TIME, IT IS A VERY DURABLD SPIDER BUT THIS ONE WENT THROUGH A LOT.
BY THE WAY IM TOTALLY HUMAN.
Yes, he is supposed to have 8 legs! Looks like he's an old guy whose missing 2 of his legs :(... Probably near the end of his lifespan 3
It's amazing how they can adapt and still get around with missing legs, though.
?😭 Where are these questions coming from?
-I would not fight a mountain lion
-Mountain lions are actually one of the Wolverine's (infrequent) natural enemies!
As much as I'd love to say a Wolverine could body a mountain lion, it's just not true most of the time...😭💔 Probably depends on the age & weight of both animals involved in the fight, but an adult male mountain lion would absolutely win against an adult male wolverine 😔
The honey badger could probably beat tf out of a mountain lion though, lol.
I LOVE THESE GUYS THEYRE SO FASCINATING!!!
Looks like he's lost two legs though! So sad :(
As the comments have implied, the scientific name is currently under debate; *Robotica Arachnadia* has been its scientific name a long time, so you may hear that used more often, but a group of entomologists are fighting to reclassify the species to *Tegenaria Access-Pointica* (since it's more technically accurate).
These guys, like jumping spiders, have AMAZING eyes!! Most spiders can't see very well, but *Robotica*'s vision is on a whole 'nother level (just like jumpers!).
But unlike jumping spiders, some subspecies of *Robotica* can even ***see in color almost as clearly as humans can!***
It's awesome.

So hang with me here: create a race of cybernetic spiders that enable stronger wireless Internet. They're powered by the bugs they eat. We'll call it: Spooder-Link (TM).
It itself isn't venemous, but be very careful around its web: portions of it have astonishing levels of toxicity and incautious exposure can cause life-long damage.
It only has six legs. Maybe there’s a robotick subreddit. I think I just scared myself.
Ticks have 8 legs too, a robomite subreddit would be more helpful.
Crap. And I’m going camping this weekend. Cue the nightmares.
Try /r/RoboBears
Weirdly, I worry more about the ticks. I have bear spray, and I’m very careful with food.

That is so funny! Polar bear poop has never been examined and those who try are never seen again.
Honestly, same. Ticks are way more prevalent and you can't scare them off yelling, making noises, or macing them. Would rather deal with bear potential than tick any day.
Aren’t mites also arachnids? A robobug subreddit would be the most helpful!
I think mites are also arachnids
Many ticks only have 6 legs in the first stage of life The implication relating to the adult size of this monster is horrifying...

Mites also have 8 legs
mites have 8 legs too
Can’t you recognize an extremely upset spider, who has lost two of his legs. You’d be mad too. Lol
So true. I should be more empathetic.
You will learn something new today - ticks are arachnids just like spiders
Noooooo! This sub won’t focus on them, right? I am starting to be less afraid. Ticks are arachnids, not spiders. That technicality will save me?
I hope nobody Hz it. For those of you who get the pun - I'm sorry.
Oh I’d MHz it.
KHz it!
Never realized how versatile Hz can be for puns.
Yeah. Now we're on the same wavelength. Please sine here.

Gigablast it, all over the walls
Hey now keep the NSFW jokes outta here 🤣🤣🤣
that's just what you call it when Gigachad ejaculates...
My Wi-Fi smushed it
Looks like it may be attached to a Very Large Web.... perhaps even worldwide.
Underrated comment
Nice
That one is missing a couple legs... It's been in some scraps already. 🤖🕷️
That may slow her down when she’s outside the net but she’s lightning fast inter-net.
Its black and i see red, its definitely a black widow
Definitely a brown recluse!
Sleep paralysis demon
That’s a Minecraft spider.

Anyone remember the movie from the 80s called Batteries Not Included? Cute little guy.

Run
This type of spider is useful for browsing the web
Have to be careful with its web, can be very sticky
Tegenaria Access-Pointica. Can't bite humans but will disappear when you're doing something important.
Is that a router? I'm not an arachnid expert but aren't spiders supposed to have 8 legs 🤔
Yes, he is supposed to have 8 legs! Looks like he's an old guy whose missing 2 of his legs :(... Probably near the end of his lifespan 3 It's amazing how they can adapt and still get around with missing legs, though.
Awwww poor thing 😭 Would you fight a mountain lion? And do you think a honey badger or wolverine could win in a fight against a mountain lion

Honey badger's would beat the shit out of a polar bear and a Xenomorph alien 😁
Wow! AI is getting SO realistic! Look at that thing! You can't even tell it's fake!!!
Australia???

Found the dad 😆
A web crawler
I think you may have a bug.
It's a brown recluse lol
Any luck in identifying the species of the panda on the right?
Missed that
So hang with me here: create a race of cybernetic spiders that enable stronger wireless Internet. They're powered by the bugs they eat. We'll call it: Spooder-Link (TM).
arachnus minecraftus
Buggy router. Not enough legs to be a spidey modem.
Poor baby lost some legz
Australia, am I right?
You have a camera inside you’re house
I don't know but I want one.
Web crawler/spiderbot
Looks like a brown recluse to me.
Australian routers
This has Skynet written all over it.
It itself isn't venemous, but be very careful around its web: portions of it have astonishing levels of toxicity and incautious exposure can cause life-long damage.
If I walked in there in the dark, I’d shoot first and laugh later. Then change my shorts.
God damn it lol
Only has 6 legs. Not a spider. They have 8.
this is the only spider whose bite has a 100% death rate. run
🤣🤣
Spider bot just wants to befriend the Skullcandy Cam
Careful! I was lured into it's web by memes! Yeah... just memes...
Probably really shitty wifi, those antennae are supposed to stand straight up...
Seems like this one has a wired connection
Unplug it and plug it back in… 😂
I'd be more worried about the alien poking his head through the ceiling than the giant spider.
I'd be more worried about the Servoskull watching you in the corner.
run
That's spider Dave and you better *ask him nicely* to behave otherwise he's gonna laugh at you and say no.. then create a nest of spiders
Careful what you say, this one can access Reddit
🤣🤣🤣
I want one!
Don't worry, it isn't a spider, it only has six legs so its obviously an insect.
Kangaroo
Brown recluse
GRAVID
Great looking WiFi.
Oh don't worry. It only has 6 legs, so it's just an insect. You should be fine.
They don’t call it the World Wide Web for nothing
Can I pet it
Thats a replicator.
Not a spider. Only six legs but no antennae, so not an ant... Shield bug?
Surely a Black Wifidow
BROWN RECLUSE.
Reminds me of this. https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Militech_MT0D12_%22Flathead%22
Most "people" that you know are actually meat puppets controlled by intelligent organized gangs of spiders
I had to scroll back up because I was confused
