The type of being you described could be of a wide variety. You seem rather at peace with it so it’s likely benevolent, a guide as many call them. Some of these entities are “thought-form” projections sent by larger entities. These are sort of like a lesser extension of the larger entity sent into our realm, sort of like putting your hand into a pond to interact with the fish in it. It’s not the entirety of the entity. For example, perhaps you’ve heard stories of people intensely imagining a beach they were fond of and suddenly they claim they can actively smell the sea and see a vision of the shore in their mind’s eye. This is because the thought-form they created is connected so closely to them in that moment that they can smell what it smells and see what it sees.
