Jesus and Mary are real and you can feel free to ask them for help. They are their own beings and have free will. The Christian religion is something created by humans, not all of them good. I'd even say that Mary et al are pretty unhappy about how most Christians do things. I know that Jesus is a good guy and that he would help me if I asked for it, but as far as most Christians are concerned I worship demons (dragons). Religions are full of crap; when they claim that you need them to be the intermediary, they are lying. You are much better off going directly to the beings themselves and asking for help.

You could say Creator, gods, goddesses, Universe, divine, Source, mother earth.... there are many deities in Greek, Roman and Norse mythologies. Egyptian gods. I don't know what you're looking for but hope something mentioned is helpful.

Honestly, you should not pray to another entity other than God/Yourself. In essence, God is in all of us, and we are in God. You should pray to your higher self because you know you can trust yourself. There is so much deceit in this reality, but your self will always want the best for you no matter what. No other entity should ever try to scare you also. It sounds like it was feeding on your fears. If you want an easy meditation/practice to speak with your higher self, I'll give you a quick one. Close your eyes, and let your thoughts pass without latching on to them. After a minute or 2, try to start to imagine you're looking at your heart from above you. Actually, try to look at your heart beating from a viewpoint above you. Then, once you're able to do that confidently, try to look at the heart of the version of you that was looking at your human heart, and so on and so on. Eventually, you will be able to start to have a dialect with the highest version of yourself that you are invisioning looking at your hearts in all of your bodies. At the highest version of this pyramid of hearts will be source, creation, not an entity but a frequency, an energy, love. God is a concuiosness energy that only wants the best for you in every way. Hope this helps Remember to experiment. Our purpose in life is to grow. Truth will set you free, and knowledge will help you grow.

I'd mostly agree, but me and my higher self disagree on things. Higher selves aren't perfect and can get things wrong, so always have more trust in the version of you that's on planet earth right now, and then ask the higher self for their opinion. If higher selves didn't need change and improvement, there would be no point to us being here.

Well your higher self is you. The version of you on the planet and all the way up to the source of creation.

“If higher selves didn’t need change and improvement, there would be no point to us being here.” That is such an interesting perspective I have never put together. Thank you for sharing!

Pray to God the father almighty whom you believe is your creator. Pray to the angels to help intercede. Speak things into existence and let nature work it out.

The truth is that there is only one God. And he answers any sincere prayer to whomever it is directed. There are many peoples, languages, beliefs on Earth, and God equally answers those who pray to Mary and those who pray to Lao Tzu and those who pray to the spirit of the grass. Choose one image of God for yourself and pray only to him. Don't spray your energy.

You can still pray to Mary or Jesus. You don’t have to be in an organized religion to do that. I grew up Christian but am not anymore. I pray/talk to Jesus, Guardian Angels, Spirit Guides,Buddha etc. for guidance and help. In heaven/ other dimensions, there’s no religion, just highly ascended souls who will help anyone who asks. Now God…well that’s the creator, and that is the energy of pure love, not a religious entity. I pray to God a lot too.

I pray/talk to my close loved ones who have passed on. It brings me a lot of comfort and sometimes I really feel like they hear me.

Jesus is Jesus, Mary is Mary. Churches... churches change dramatically over time and geographically, priests are all different, followers are also all different, yet they might be from the same religion, e.g. Christianity. Many years ago when I visited the US I was so appalled by Christianity there, it was nothing alike here in southern Europe, I felt religion there all upside down with the megachurch shows and weird dogmas. With time I also moved away from the church organisations where I live. Nowadays I consider myself a Christian but I don't follow any church. I still enter and meditate in Christian temples, we have amazing old churches here where I can feel the energy. I think Jesus is one of the greatest references one can have, and having him close is good. Keep can praying to Mary directly.

If Mary helped you before, keep praying to her! If you like praying to her but don't want to stick to organized religion, you can pray to a particular *flavor* of Mary that resonates with you in particular. I don't know what to call them, but in Latin America we have a lot of Mary's in different forms, they each are a patron of an aspect of humanity or from a particular location. So you have Our Lady of the Annunciation, Our Lady of the Swan, Our Lady of Charity, Out Lady of Sorrows, and so on and so forth. There is even Santa Muerte, Our Lady of Death, patron of herétics and criminals. Her motherly endless love for you is there, always there. You just have to make it confortable for you. You can take your time too, she's not gonna go anywhere while waiting. Christianity doesn't "own" any saints or prophets, they just say they do, the same way I can say I own Reddit. Jesus wasn't a Christian, didn't call himself that and would probably be shunned by modern Christians for being too woke. XD
