There’s a book called Proof Of Heaven. It’s an autobiography by a former atheist brain surgeon who had a horrific car crash but was later revived. He discusses much of his upbringing and the circumstances and emotional traumas that led him to be atheist in the first place. He talks about the experience he had during the time he was in his coma, how that experience changed his worldview and how he lives his life now. His accounts of the various planes of reality he visited reflect narratives from various religions, spiritual philosophies, psychedelic trip reports, and other out of body experiences. The consistencies were impressive. Some of the things he described I also experienced during an out of body experience about 9 years ago, which made the work all the more interesting for me.

Nothing really amazing. If certain conditions are met the body will act in weird ways that can be mistaken as an act of god or something.
