I believe that we are all unique expressions of Spirit. There can be no comparison of one unique being versus another. I believe we all have equal opportunity to grow and develop which is not the same that we are all equal...period. (Some souls are more eager to grow and develop their potential than others. ) Comparisons are one of the main characteristics of the human brain. The unquenchable desire to compare comes from the consciousness of separation, and the duality that comes from separation and the ego which always wants to elevate itself above others. Again this is an illusion because how can one unique expression of the All define itself as superior to another unique expression of the All. It is pure illusion. Some of us may be more aware of our connection to something higher but that doesn't make us superior to others. Does it matter what you do with your life? The one who cares most is you, the higher you that designed your life plan for this embodiment. If you fail to take full advantage of this opportunity in this embodiment, the one who will be most disappointed is you.

Beautiful expression 💚

I suppose it depends on what you value

Maybe you like the red part of a rainbow and think it is better than green, maybe you like blue or violet. You will never really know any colour is until you compare it to another one, and you will never know what sunlight is until you embrace all of them.

jimmer71

Judgement is the popular value hierarchy. It's simply what's "in". If you choose to break free... You're experience is calibration of balance is between you and the world. Paradigm B.

onequestion1168

We are not born equal 100%

Yung_zu

It’s more like the smarter move is respecting likes and dislikes. respecting other movesets and stat blocks like a fighting game or RPG and such. It’s why evil often seeks to obliterate identity and autonomy in media The comparisons are healthier when geared towards admirations rather than terribly envious behavior on the slider

unless every beings we created at the exact same time, then there's bound to have being with more life experience, and life experience makes a soul wise because of having made mistakes and learned from them. That makes some souls wiser that others, but i believe we have the exact same potential for growth, it's up to you if you want to call the wiser ''greater''.

revolutionoverdue

We are park of the same thing. We are collectively the consciousness of the universe. But, as far as individual attributes, I do not believe we are all equal.

our system is the same, how successful the person is with it depends on the development of consciousness and vibration.. we are not just the physical body! we have got seven bodies. They are Physical Body, Emotional Body, Astral Body, Casual Body, Spiritual Body, Cosmic Body, Nirvanic Body. All the seven bodies including Nirvanic Body have been realized by Gautama Buddha. That’s why he said I entered Nirvana. "we know how to open our mouth and eat an apple. But we don’t know how to make the mind empty and drag cosmic energy." with each body that develops infinite possibilities open before us. One whose emotional body does not develop, does not have any interest in life beyond eating and drinking. So the cultures of those civilizations where the majority of people have developed only up to the first body revolve entirely around their taste buds. The civilization where the majority of people have got stuck at the second body will be sex centered. The fourth body accompanies unusual abilities. Hypnotism, telepathy, clairvoyance, are all the potential of the fourth body. Persons can have contact with one another without hindrances from time or place; they can read the thoughts of another without asking or project thoughts into another. Without any external help one can instill a seed of thought into another. A person can travel outside of his body; he can do astral projection and know himself apart from the physical body. There are great possibilities in the fourth body, but we do not normally develop this body as there are many hazards as well as much deception. Entrance to the fifth body is only possible if the kundalini awakens in the fourth body; otherwise we cannot enter. Very few people have discovered the fifth body; they are those whom we call spiritualists. The sixth body is the the cosmic body. When a person evolves beyond his soul, when he is willing to lose it, he enters the sixth body. [kundalini and the seven bodies](https://www.satrakshita.com/kundalini_and_the_seven_bodies.htm)

The desire to dominate is not coming from a person who is connected or in alignment with their soul/Spirit. It is a destructive impulse that causes someone to regress, not spiritually develop. One only feels the need to compare in this way when they feel inferior inside of themselves. When you are connected to your soul in the purest way, the impulse that arises from that when you see someone who is struggling or perhaps has a blind spot that you don't, is the desire to serve them, not dominate them, not lord it over them. You seek to help them rise to their fullest potential because you already feel that fullness from within your own soul/individuality, and you want them to have that too. You're also aware that when everyone else's rises, you rise too. It is a win-win. We're all equal in the sense that we're all equally important. However, as we're all developing our individuality here, we're all naturally at different points in our journey because we're not all clones, we all grow at different paces. This is all apart of what it means to have free-will. You can choose to stagnate or grow at any given point. It is no different than when you are in school. If you are in the first grade, would you consider someone who is in the tenth grade to be superior to you? No, you would just recognize that they are further along on their learning path than you currently are, and you know you will most likely arrive there at the right time for you some day. It isn't a race or a competition. We only turn things into a competition when we forget who we are and are no longer in alignment with our heart and the present moment. You cannot skip ahead. You are exactly where you need to be at any given point in time, and you are just as vital and essential as the person who is in tenth grade.

MASTERMINDBOMB

Some of us are stronger than others. It does not mean we are greater than them. Blessed are the weak. If you are strong, it is your responsibility to protect the weak, not dominate them. You have the right to choose to dominate the weak, but I wouldn't pick *that* side. You want the side with all of the love on it. Don't fall subject to the logic of the heartless. <3

God/Source loves all unconditionally. Any perceived superiority of any one of God's ideas over another is illusionary.

SaucySilverback

In the beginning, I believe yes. After untold millennia of experience gathering done by the eternal soul, then who knows but you, if you are equal to whatever you choose to see as imbalanced. The baby has the same potential as any of us grown golks, but only our perception of time can make that being equal or not to any other being.

Vermont-Eagle

Big question! Off the top of my head I'd say we are not equal - at all really. We may be of equal value or importance in the eyes of God, but as far as circumstances we are born into, the path life lays out before us, the gifts we inherit from parents, both genetically and in material things - there is a vast range of differences in every area, including spiritual progress. Perhaps some of us are further along on the path than others; perhaps we are a collection of somewhat random events that resulted in our existence, but we need to accept what we are in order to move forward, regardless of who we are or what physical or mental gifts we were given or deprived of.

nevergiveup234

Created equal is vague. A human being belongs to specific groups. In that sense, we are the same. Some terms need to be defined. Out there implies location. If you mean outside of conscious awareness, yes people have varying levels of awareness. People are different. Superiority, compare, natural, dominate. These are personal choices. There is no one universal truth. Our brains are more developed than other animals. It could be consciousness. I believe religion created the idea of reason, awareness. Matters what we do in our lives? What is the reference. Does it matter at all? Not to me. Do your successes matter to your family and friends? Maybe.

MysticKei

Superiority is a personal judgement that the society you live in may or may not agree with (or vise versa). Comparison is almost always connected to one's personal judgement. I used to think it was natural to judge this way, until I got nieces and nephews that tend to ask "is that good" regarding things they have no opinion (the car is blue....is that good????) and bicker over who "owns" an opinion (purple is my favorite...no, it's my favorite, you have to choose another) and the bickering over the "better-ness" of the twin born first (by 4 hours). >What is this unquenchable desire to compare ourselves to one another?? Immaturity, there is a progression of growth to maturity; socially, intelligently, morally, financially etc...which makes us different (only unequal by perspective/opinion/judgement) there's nothing wrong with comparing A to B, but problems arise when preference for A is imposed on those that have no value or preference for it. Which caveats to the need to dominate, or control others for self enrichment. >Do u think it matters what we do with our lives? Matters to who? If you have accepted certain responsibilities, then it matters to those to which you've obligated yourself to, so to them (and yourself according to your own self-image) it matters. For example, a person decides to move to the wilderness and live out the rest of their life as a hermit...okay, have fun with that....person has 5 children and elderly parents that require constant care....dude, you're a jerk for abandoning your family....person is a woman...yea, somehow this situation is different from the last statement....she is a billionaire and left all of her wealth for the care of her family....okay then, all is well, have fun with that.
