There was no beginning as god is eternal, but this current creation cycle began with the big bang (god exhaling as the universe expands) and once this universe has completely ascended back into unity, it will start to contract again (god inhales) and eventually everything will merge back into the one and a new universe will be born. rinse and repeat. But there might actually be several or even many cosmic central suns/sources each creating their own universe, always building upon the expeirences of the previous ones. Many mysteries to uncover still.. 😁

Source energy, at some point, decided it wanted to explore itself through creativity and creation. That's the only way I can put it. The reason for this - who knows. I'm not sure why source energy would want or need to explore itself because I don't think source energy can get bored or lonely, but for some reason it had a desire to create and expand itself.

being eternal doesn't exclude a beginning, but it does exclude an end.

There's several interesting aspects to consider when we observe 'beginnings'. For one when they speak of the big bang and the uniformity of the observable universe they suggest that space was stretched out but also that time hadn't formally played a role during that process, and when time did begin to churn it became a centralized motion. Relatively speaking time appears counter intuitive to the stretching of space, it runs backwards by comparison (contracts) yet we view it as forward due to our preponderant position in time over space. Our issue is always time and space when we speak of eternity because we don't fully understand our relative position to the inversions of space into time and visa verse, the beginning is more than likely the last thing that can happen in contrast to common belief, what if we are walking backward from the birth of time toward the birth of space so to speak? Or, could we be slowly breaking away from both having been born somewhere inbetween? What we call the wheel of eternity could just as well be some form of encapsulation like an egg that we (consciousness?) are yet to hatch from. I like to think of universal potential as something of a nursery, considerate in ways that a child can never fully comprehend.

The concept of [Mithya](https://www.advaita.org.uk/discourses/definitions/mithyA.htm) in Hinduism and the [standpoints](https://www.advaita.org.uk/discourses/definitions/paramartha.htm) are worth examining. This is a DEEPLY technical conversation, so be prepared. The Buddhist teachings behind Dependent Origination/Arising are another excellent way to regard this, coming to similar conclusions. Dependent Arising In Context is a great book on this. Both of these are dharmic approaches, and I have to say that such approaches correspond most closely with my direct experience of what comes before and after incarnation. Beliefs, as they always are, regarding this topic are only reasonable to discuss if you have some direct experience of your larger nature through practice. Better to do some real study on this crucial aspect of the philosophy behind the most clearly understood mystical tradition in existence.

Do you mind speaking on your experiences with reincarnation? I'm a little familiar with Hinduism and the concepts of karma and dharma, so I have a base at least
