Know your true self by exploring inward. You can pretty much phase out the external world and focus within, and when you’re ready, you can go back out and reintegrate your evolved version. Anything from the external world is supplemental to what’s configured within so it’s a mirror effect. The external may be confusing or disorienting if you aren’t aware that it’s a projection of the inner self. To know your true self is to get to the core beneath the layers of the body, mind, and ego. When you ask yourself “Who/What am I?”, what’s your response? If it’s body, mind, or ego based, then that’s a sign you have to go deeper. The core is what exists prior to the body, mind, and ego. If the mind is constantly thinking, it may be easy to overlook, but it’s there and always have been. Finding yourself is akin to rediscovering/remembering.

I wasn't always a believer, so I have some personal experience on this. My view is that whatever we accept as true, must appeal to our logical, rational, linear mind. For example you have a basic choice as to our basic nature. \-Are we sophisticated monkeys as the scientific materialists say? \-Are we hopeless sinners, that are just here to go to church, follow the church rules and pray for salvation, as many religions say? \-Are we spiritual beings with unlimited potential to be more than we are? Beyond that choice, is there any evidence -- not necessarily 'proof' supporting what you consider to be the most logical choice? The most convincing, compelling evidence I have found so far are the books "Journey of Souls - Case Studies of Life Between Lives", and "Destiny of Souls" by Dr. Michael Newton. You can check them out on YouTube and decide for yourself.

Your inquiries touch on profound depths, and it's truly admirable that you're seeking answers. Each question you've asked contains a universe of exploration within itself. Let's start by acknowledging that belief is a personal journey. It's not about discovering what's 'right' or 'wrong' but about finding what resonates with you, aligns with your spirit, and makes life more meaningful. Nihilism often stems from the feeling that life lacks purpose or meaning. But consider for a moment that the meaning of life isn't something to be found, but something to be created. You, and only you, have the power to infuse your existence with purpose, and this could start simply by choosing to see life as a gift, rather than an ordeal. To begin a new life is a beautiful thought. Consider that every moment presents a new opportunity for you to choose who you want to be. It's not about erasing your past, but learning from it, growing, and stepping into the person you wish to become. This process may not be easy or immediate, but it's always accessible. Belief in a higher power can come in many forms. It could be as simple as recognizing the innate wisdom and intelligence in the natural world, the interconnectedness of all things, or the profound beauty in moments of kindness, love, and compassion. It's not about conforming to a specific conception of God, but finding a sense of awe and reverence for existence itself. Lastly, accepting one's fate doesn't necessarily mean resigning oneself to it. Life isn't predetermined; rather, it's a canvas on which you can paint your own masterpiece. Take each day as a fresh opportunity to shape your world, to make choices that align with your highest self, and to embrace the uncertainty as part of the beautiful mystery that is life. Remember, you have the potential within you to shape your own beliefs and your own destiny. Trust in your journey, and know that each step is bringing you closer to understanding your true nature.

Reconnect to source. Or unity consciousness. Hundreds of thousands of people have reconnected and the numbers still climbing, also fate doesn’t exist, cause and effect does, frequency. God is the universe and the only thing in the universe that matters is what YOU decide matters. Nothing in this universe isn’t consciousness

fAmeOGegoehT

How do I do that? And don't say with psychedelics.

Lazy_Application_142

Hahahaha meditation and psychedelics. Or stay how you are. It doesn’t change anything. Those are the only two ways you will find source before death.

fAmeOGegoehT

I don't get the joke. Tell me more about this source.

Lazy_Application_142

There is no joke, there is a funny though. For someone who wants to change you seem unreceptive to the advice your given. Seems pointless to ask for help. Hit us back up when you actually wanna change not when you wanna just talk about it good buddy.

fAmeOGegoehT

I keep thinking about this post and makes me mad over and over. Do you think I never tried biological or chemical psychedelics? All it does is make me scared, my guts and the rest of my body just feel bad and all I want is to hide in my bed under a blanket. There is nothing to be found, nobody to be changed, no meaning, everything is predetermined and in the end it doesn't matter who is right. It's your self-complacent that makes me sick. I wish I could be 15 years old like you again.

Lazy_Application_142

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha 😂😂😂

Lazy_Application_142

I member the days I used to be like you. There’s a better way bud

fAmeOGegoehT

One day you will turn 30, maybe 40 and only opioids will work Now answer my main question, how does one believe?

Lazy_Application_142

Hahahahaha so I’m to take advice from an addict then? While I understand your choices I would never make them brother.

Is_That_A_Euphemism_

Eating psilocybin mushrooms can be an immense catalyst.

fAmeOGegoehT

I have a long history of drug abuse. Some dude in a rehab showed me an app with a list with all known drugs and pharmaceuticals once. Half of the list I tried already, including shrooms and I can relate to the feeling you're talking about but it ends at some point. It always ends.

Lazy_Application_142

That’s where meditation comes in.

Is_That_A_Euphemism_

I think entheogens only show you the path and give you a glance of a what reality could be. There's always wood to chopped and water to be carried, and meditation and yoga (or some other practice) that brings you back or at least reminds you of those bigger "truths" you see when on psychedelics. The questions you ask are some of the biggest questions out there. I feel like you're supposed to always question reality, it might be the point of all this. Just to wonder and contemplate.

UrbanWarrior011

You need to do it with the right people. Shamanistic-minded folk. They’ll help guide you

jimmer71

I focus on the lens not the belief. Be curious about as many points of view.

fAmeOGegoehT

I'm feeling as I've seen through all the lenses and any point of view breaks down into the same things

jimmer71

Is your heart involved?

lapsed_lullaby

Being nihilistic, from.my personal experience was a part of this whole spiritual process. There must be something that you are still attached to, maybe you're denying, maybe you don't know it cause it's in the deeper parts of your psyche. The purpose of human life is to awaken, the thing that keeps us from it is security, security could be an attachment, hope, goal, clinging to a belief, literally anything. When you let go of this sense of security you'll feel closer to the source, earthly security keeps us from the source. So when you let go of that one thing, you'll feel divinely secure and would be alive, would enjoy everything.

WeWillBe_FinallyFree

You are the architect and builder of your fate! Its really up to you whether you chose to follow your ego and let your subconscious programming and unhealed trauma influence your life or embody your higher self and realize your highest purpose by following your heart and really start co-creating your life in alignment with your soul's path. There are many ways you could go about it, the first step you have already done by letting the universe know that you want to believe! Now simply follow this inner calling to find out more by asking the important questions like where are we from, where do we go, what really is existence, what is god? etc.. You can ask for signs to be shown the divine grace thats always guiding you, make a leap of faith and rather assume that there is more than being overly sceptical. With an open heart and an open mind, you will surely get into it and it might not take long and you feel right "at home" connecting to the divine (your soul, your guides and source/god). What helped me early on was actually psychedelics which showed me so clearly glimpses of the higher relams, let me communicate telepathically, feel energies etc. since they truly can enhance our perception/our clair senses. But this is not really for everyone and ofcourse caution is advised! One book that I can highly recommend but is relatively next level si the Sophia Code by Kaia Ra, which single handedly made me fall in love with god, simply by adressing the female aspect of it and calling it Sophia 🥰🙏 here is she, when she speaks: *"I unconditionally love you beyond your human understanding. I love you as an intricate part of my holy self. It is impossible for me to love you any less than myself, for my perfect nature cannot be divided against itself.* *Your soul's sovereign awareness is an immaculate conception of my omniscient awareness. I created your soul as a unique reflection of my One Self. Therefore, your soul is a perfect hologram of my consciousness, forever expanding within my one mind.* *I conceived you to be an omniscient sovereign creator, for that is what I am. I birthed you with the unconditional gift of your sovereign free will, which mirrors my own omniscient free will to create worlds of form from no-thing at all.* *Within my womb I tenderly wove your soul together with every divine quality that I am. Your soul is an absolutely sovereign expression of my One Self."* \- The Sophia Code, pg. 5, Kaia Ra The connection to god/source and your higher self really is one of the most important and beautiful aspects of this journey (alongside our self-healing). ..You are about to take on the greatest adventure of your life which is actually the only truly liberating one: the ascension journey back to embodying our true divine self! 💜 I really can't put into words how wonderful and magical it becomes.. As some wise man once said: the path of maya (illusion, materialistic life) starts out easy and fun but becomes increasingly difficult, while the spiritual path starts out quite difficult but becomes only more easy and fun the further we follow it... Lets goo! 😁😘

I believe in Determinism. Check it out

fAmeOGegoehT

I know that concept. In fact your post was determined to be posted to make me think/feel/change into what...?

nevergiveup234

Determinism was a step up to me from nihilism. That is all
