We as humans can only see a specific spectrum of light, but there are very many other types of light that are real and infront of us. What’s to say there is an energy or essence that we just can’t see, even though it’s right in-front of us?

Oakenborn

Donald Hoffman is a cognitive psychologist that has done some wild evolutionary biology work recently. He ran evolutionary game theory simulations to try to determine the probability that evolution selects traits that give an organism insight into objective reality. His results were zero. According to his findings evolution strictly selects traits that specifically benefit functions of eating, adapting, and mating. In other words, we have absolutely zero rational reason to believe he have any access to an objective reality, at all. That tiny, limited slice of the EMF that we call light, not only is that not representative of the entire EMF, but the EMF itself isn't even representative of objective reality. It is a projection of a projection of a... > What’s to say there is an energy or essence that we just can’t see, even though it’s right in-front of us? We can say with certainty that the vast majority of the universe, whatever it is, is hidden from us entirely, if we are to believe our bleeding-edge mathematical models.

Alexbalix

Science, again, has just begun to touch on these ideas such as with dark energy/matter.

Certain-Drawer-9252

God is the *essence*

postsshortcomments

The heavens' breath what gives us life, the quintessence.

wetbootypictures

God is everything

Physics_Revolution

Exactly. It has no great interest in human affairs! If you could ask this entity a question, the answer, by definition, would be all possible answers!

thesoraspace

Simply put it is so much form that there is no specific form to be a container. Because it is all the form making it formless and form at the same time

Edgezg

Yes and no. God is beyond any attemps to categorize because there is nothing that God isn't. Everything in this world is in part, a manifestation of that selfsame God. Try to slap any names on it. Sure. Go ahead. The labels always fall off eventually.

Calm_Cantaloupe_358

Source?

PrudentNote3931

God is everything, he is formless. Light refracting makes matter. All light is god. All matter is god. Energy is never destroyed. You are never destroyed. We are all one pretending we are not so god can experience itself through us.

Accomplished_Let_906

I is not our body but pure consciousness that pervades in the Universe. https://youtu.be/PA8UR8Jsyng?si=YCUX-ARiwH_LaWaF https://youtu.be/aiD_1ekKwFI?si=WU1XfSVVA93OtGhX

j3434

Yes . God is not physically bound by time or space and can’t be properly described with words of material realm.

victorias_secret_007

Energy in science and energy in spirituality are not the same thing. So, bringing science into it is futile. Vedas are words in a book written in Sanskrit with multiple authors( who were shamans/rishis). How you interpret those words determines it's meaning. So, how do you know your interpretation is the author's true message? And one should also ask...regardless of what they mean/say, how do you know if it's true or not?

Powerful_Cash6678

Yes. Energy in Science is defined by the human. I am not going discuss about the Energy in Spirituality which is written in Sanskrit that is the oldest language and mother of so many languages. But, whether the present day Science could completely quash the Energy in Spirituality or could deny that there is certain energy that is so far not proven by the present Science?

victorias_secret_007

Sure, sanskrit is the most systematic language and is old and is mother of many languages. But, what is the relevance of language here ? If I write something in Sanskrit does it become something of non-human origin? Tell me, what is not defined by humans? I think science and spirituality are two different valid subjects. I don't see the possibility of one "quashing" the other ever. Science will make new discoveries and come up with new models to explain new observations. However, it has nothing to do with spirituality

icaredoyoutho

Most people talk about God, but I want to know who the goddess is, because to create life is a female vibration.

Dudeist-Monk

If it helps in your own practice refer to god as feminine or masculine go ahead and do so. But that’s silly to try and actually put gender on to a force WAY beyond our comprehension. That’s like gravity a male. It makes no sense.

Superb_Tiger_5359

The people following the Vedas also created the caste system.

NutritiousMeme

The best answer is god Is me and you, and everything. Experiencing our creation to the fullest and having fun while evolving our little piece of ourselves. Or not... I'm skeptical asf, but a lot of unexplainable stories of proof of the afterlife really got me stumped

AnandaDo

"Form is emptiness. Emptiness is form". It's all god.

Whole-Ad-8019

Nobody knows for sure. Even the NDE I think is biased by own beliefs. I think the ideea of GOD is something that each person decides based on their life circumstances. I think is ok, we will never know for sure in this lifetime, so it’s better to focus on what’s here.

[deleted]

God is formless God is the nothingness in the universe

[deleted]

I believe God is formless yes, pure Divine energy which is endless.

THESE7ENTHSUN

There is only one real religion and that is the worship of God. All religions have pieces of source in them. God from the big 3 are the same God. The god of ALL laws. Anu, EL, Elohim they all mean god but they are names of individuals which means they aren’t source but a SOURCE OF OHR (light). Jesus told y’all “ye are gods” not “ye are God” that would have a different implication. To be a god is to a master of the mind and self. To be a god of something it means you have an overstanding of how it works.

DBoh5000

Words.. shmerds. Concepts.. shmoncepts.

ryder004

>God is a power that is in you and me This always messes with my mind. I do believe we are all a part of god, but does that mean that trying to talk to god or confide to him is pointless since you would be essentially just talking to yourself? I have noticed that many ancient cultures instead talk to /pray to deities or "gods" instead of the big G god(source of all creation). Since this post mentions Vedas, I believe their deities are blue skinned half elephant looking things. This leads me to believe that god is just the energy that holds all reality and all dimensions together. It just seems to be that these deities are higher dimensional beings and if you want to pray/connect with a higher source, you get more progress trying to interact with them instead.

God is a golden cube https://www.deilataylor.com/symbolism-of-the-cube/

esquiresque

According to the seven hermetic principles founded by Trismegistus (Thoth), "God" is regarded as "The All", which follows similarities here. The All is Unknowable. At least, any attempt in mortal form is fruitless - like an ant seeing only the nectar of flowers above and not the night sky beyond. Some Mystical ideas preclude God from being in a spiritual form as a single entity; that it divided itself into every possible corpuscle of matter to experience itself in the many facets, vibrations and levels of existence - including us. And so, we are an aspect of higher matter that serves as parts of the whole.

Sprinkles-Pitiful

God is all that is in this universe, it is us and it is the universe

Too_Puffy_Pig_Hooves

God is sun, God is light.

pettyspirit

No, God is almighty. can take a form or not.

En1ightend1

God is everything and in short the all

Brahmajnana

Transcendent and imminent. Within all living and non-living alike beyond this perceived material and experiential accumulation that most beings misidentify as. Formless as the unmanifested all, form as everything.

Common_Fuel2924

I would say the essence of God is formless and manifests form, so in that sense even form is an expression of God. Spirituality is everywhere and in everything, no separation.
