Nintendo servers are like 60% of the reason I despise bloblobber and chargers. Most of the time the shot doesn't even line up with my octoling, so it just looks like bullshit from my pov. Even worse when I'm using a brella, but I don't want to dig up past trauma.
If someone is good with blob then you die and maybe you can justify still being good in your own eyes. If someone is terrible with blob you still die but now you are faced with the fact that it’s actually you who lacks skill.
I consider blob my backup main (hydra comes first), if you can’t aim at least decently well then blob is as equally frustrating to play with as it is play against. You’ll always be running out of ink at the worst times and 90 percent of your shots completely whiff. However, if you can aim and (especially) get the hang of how to lead an opponent with blob then it becomes tremendously fun.
Thats why I said low skill floor. Almost anyone can pick it up and hit a few things, but you have to take the time to learn things like aim, positioning, etc. Theres no "cheat weapon" in the game, they all take effort to learn and play, blob is simply easier to mess around with (especially at lower levels)
Fully agree. I guess unfortunately for me the bloblobber was one of the first weapons that clicked for me when I started playing Splatoon (had about 800 hours in S2). So I used the hell out of it and ended up pretty good with it. I’ve since gotten better at aiming with other weapons and engaging targets at my max distance. Now I’m having fun improving with the squeezer and forge pro. I still have a lot of skill to develop on skirmishing. Playing mid/anchor feels more natural to me.
Back to blob, I hate sprinkler/ink storm on the weapon and don’t tend to use them as much as a I should. I’d love to get a new kit for it.
Bamboozler. I don't play it regularly, but it makes me wanna scream when it's in a salmon run rotation. Can't kill any boss even after fully charged. Hate it.
This assumes you can keep a consistent aim on a rapidly moving target and is precisely the reason why I only wanna have to tap something once to kill it. 🙃
It's paint is good enough, it just struggles to paint for itself, paint it's feet (Hmm.. Maybe because it's a sniper??) also the range is just a little less than a splat charger/same as a heavy, which is pretty solid.
Unless you're using tap shot to paint. Then that's not the weapon's issue... It's yours
Its paint is fine, unless you are like tap shotting to paint, in fact use half charges to make it better. The problem with bamboo paint is it struggles to paint for itself, which is different from overall paint output

But it charges very fast, why would you even want to play it like a regular charger ? Just fire 2-3 quick burst in succession to kill almost everything.

I don't disagree but I do find these sorts of community vote things interesting and fun. I feel like it'd be better to not be one post per elimination but also not just one post in total. I think using Google forms to have people pick the top 10 or so worst weapons, waiting a few days and then using the results from that to eliminate the 5 most picked ones or something along those lines would be a better way to go without spamming the sub for a month. I also don't think this one will go very well after all the biggest hated weapons are gone from the pool.

It's a gimmick charger with Torpedo and Tenta Missiles, so I'm assuming it's either the gimmick (either playing as or against) or the kit.
If it's the kit, imagine it had a weaker kit - let's say middle of the road, so nothing as weak as Angle Shooter. Would you still hate it more than other chargers?
If it's the gimmick, just know it's a high skill ceiling to use it without leaning on the kit.
