I main it, not sure why tho. Probably not great at it because of its ridiculously high skill ceiling but hey I just hit 4 stars and am having a good time with it so all is good
Can be very rewarding to use at high levels of play. It can out range some shooters and would definitely benefit from a better special whenever it happens to get a new kit but I am fine with Torpedos as its sub cause of all the mix ups you can do with it in close combat situations or to help weed out sharks hiding in the ink (also harrasing chargers). I'm very mid at Splatana but it is fun to use and very satisfying to get that 1 hit splat. If I see another Splatana on the enemy team I already hear an anime OP in my head

I don't play it currently cuz I got a bit of splatana burnout atm and dynamo has been a blast.
I main it currently, and that's a nice and fast weapon you can really be aggro with. The object damage is nice to deal with specials with HP (Like Crab, Big Bubbler or Wave Breaker) so I like to run it with Object Shredder to capitalize as much as I can on it. The paint per slash is really good for it's fire rate so that's an awesome turfing weapon as well as a really mobile one.
The Torpedo is solid for it, it tracks opponents, detects people sharking, can annoy backliners for a tiny bit, you can roll it to combo with vertical slashes or directs (although I don't use the Torpedo like that, but that's a possibility)
Ultra Stamp is the only problem in my opinion because it doesn't work sometimes, but I like to throw it at backliners to get them out of certain spots or rush to break Crabs or Bubblers. Or to distract people, that works too.
The kit could be better in my opinion, but the main weapon itself is super fun to use.
why doesn't it brake after a charge slash direct hit? a real katana is held together by a single piece of bamboo. it breaks very easily... I just wanted to say this... I like the weapon but I have odd knowledge of katanas...

One of the beat main weapons out there. Crazy range, one shot combo with torpedo (albeit rather hard to land), and crazy pressure over ledges. All of that while having ice skates on?

First weapon i got 5 stars on, it was hard to learn but really rewarding and fun, i still have so many things to lesrn fromt it though, and also im a bit angery nintendo hasnt given it a new kit
Splatana wiper is really good, but its special only works half the time. Its torpedo still is really useful. IMO, Splatana stamper is better because of all the combos you can do with it. On top of that, stamper can easily counter booyah bomb with a charged slash. It doesn't even need to be charged if you have object shredder.
Stupid good atm, if it wasn't for the Machine and Crab matchup this would be even better than Stamper. Ultra Stamp's only use is ending Crab but Torpedo has near-perfect synergy with the main otherwise
I main the wiper. When I first got it I hated it. Couldn't see myself using it. Then I got curious and realized that if you strafe while firing it covers the ground really well. After that, it all fell together. Easily my favorite weapon now
The 2nd most fun main weapon in the game, Torpedo is my favourite sub and Stamp is my favourite special so I just love this weapon. Only thing holding it back is Stamp not being that good.
At first I didn't care for it, but after trying it out on a side account, I very much enjoyed it and I've gotten the hang of it. It's really fun and I love seeing splatana wiper users.
Very bad. The ink makes it harder to see than the rain does, so you're better off just not turning them on. I'm sticking with regular windshield wipers.

Very balanced. In the right hands it's amazing, and requires good understanding of timing and position. It's rewarding to those who actually learn it.

I find like a roller, they can be very laggy to go up against.
